We got LG in 2015. Had one minor issue with a relay in the control panel maybe 5 years in (which after I bought the part, but before I installed it, corrected itself). It's got the digital timer display, and 'bubble' buttons, but no 'smart' screen or anything.

Finally got a 'Financial Term of the Day' that I already knew and understood...
You do NOT have a right to an attorney. You do NOT have a right to make ME or ANYONE else pay for your attorney.
You have a right to counsel.
Interesting that a system that is run by lawyers would decide that you have a right to take my money and give it to one of them if you're charged with a crime.

The beauty of what she's saying is that she acknowledges that there is NO way we can get people to agree with us, if we tell the truth.
Of course, That's been the 'party line' for YEARS.
One of the things I almost never see mentioned in the various climate debates is the observation that Earth is historically on the cooler side and is rising from that very low base.
The planet has historically gone through multiple cycles of not having polar ice caps and then having them again, etc. Over millions of years. There's been a really long-term feedback loop there.
I'm not a climate scientist by any stretch, but I just find that general omission in public discussions around it to be interesting.

And at LEAST as important, you have a basic human right to HEAR others.
Nobody has a right to force you to hear them, but neither does anyone have a right to PREVENT you from hearing someone.
That is modern 'free speech'; You can sit in your soundproof room on twitter and express your opinions and outrage, but 'the powers that be' tightly control whether anyone can hear you...
