Gamblers gonna’ gamble, don’t be mad. Bitcoin is for enemies.
📉Curve Finance’s total value of assets locked was slashed by half over the past month after mass withdrawals that followed the $70 million exploit.
💰TRON’s founder Justin Sun bought 5 million CRV tokens from Curve CEO Michael Egorov in a likely OTC deal, at an average price of $0.4.
💣Sun announced a partnership between TRON and CRV on stUSDT, while Coinalyze data reveals traders are lining up to short Curve tokens.
Kind of agree. So many reasons to hate the TSA, but in this case I’d be more pissed at the idiot who bumped into the laptop causing it to drop.
If Bitcoin has 50% of the crypto market that means 50% are either degenerate gamblers or too dumb to see the truth.
Unfortunately, with bickering about “toxic maxis”, I have a feeling there are people that don’t fully understand Bitcoin, or know Bitcoin.com is a scam, or that BCH/BSV is an alt chain coin, or that Bitcoin Magazine is a grifter preying on people who think monkey jpegs and “rare” sats are worth something.
Same, yesterday was the nail in the coffin for me.
Advice required.
Have a synology ds923+. Haven’t got the drives yet or the nvme drives.
What is everyone using or suggest. Obviously synology want you to buy theirs but prices are jacked. Also not sure how anal they are with suggested compatible drives

Anything “enterprise” grade is better than consumer grade. I have a bunch of Seagates but can’t remember what.
Sad you wasted your $ to see it, but if you have a teenage daughter I understand. Apparently it was one of the big tent-pole releases for the summer. If this is what Hollywood is catering to, I feel sad that there will be more of this garbage coming.
First they turn off their nuclear power plants , then they cut back on all livestock farming. Thanks for leading Germany, good job!
Tell me you’re going to engineer a famine to convert the world to eat plant-based meat & bugs without telling me you’re engineering this.
Good morning ser
There are some issues with Damus, however. I clicked the “post” button 3 times trying to make my last post because it wasn’t posting right away. Instead it posted 3 times!
The note was a little long so perhaps that was the problem, or perhaps the relays I use were busy, or maybe my wifi signal was weak. But can’t Damus compensate for those things with a timeout on re-clicking the “post” button?
Apple just updated the Twitter app on my phone so it’s no longer called Twitter but X, and changed the logo so the bird is gone.
I’m reflecting on a journey that has been several years coming. I was addicted to Facebook years ago, but when they forced me to download a messenger app separate from the main app to chat (apart from WhatsApp that I already had) and realized the surveillance system they were creating I walked away and basically quit their platform.
I found a new home in some online forums using Tapatalk to feed my social media addiction. I paid for a lifetime subscription to the app, but then the dev came out with Tapatalk 2.0 (basically the same app w/ more features) and the TOS changed and they wanted me to pay again. By this point however the communities had grown so toxic that as my interests changed I couldn’t even continue on the forums and walked away again.
For a little while it felt freeing to be off everything, but then I got hooked in with Reddit. I had always dabbled in Reddit but I was never a daily user. And then I was. Until the owner decided to change an API so that my preferred app could access Reddit. Again I was disappointed and heard the voices saying Reddit wasn’t what it used to be, saw the writing on the wall, and felt like it was time to move on.
But on to what? Well, I had been co-dependent on Twitter during this time but now I was putting 100% of my time on social media towards Twitter. With Elon came changes: some good, but also some I didn’t like. I’m afraid of and against an all-in-one app like WeChat or Facebook + messenger + LibraPay. I know Apple and Google are interwoven into society in so many ways but I find myself turning more towards sovereignty, FOSS, and Bitcoin.
So, I think it’s time to walk away from Twitter/C and embrace NOSTR fully. It suits my values. So I’m sad, but also happy today!

I saw a post about cash vs charge (which could be applied to CBDC)
A man pays $100 cash for a mechanic to fix his car. The mechanic uses the $100 bill to pay a painter to paint his fence. The painter uses the $100 to his dentist for a cleaning. The dentist uses the $100 bill pay a handyman to fix his broken window. At the end of the week the $100 has passed through 10 people’s hands and is now $100 in the grocery’s register.
But if everyone charged $100 to pay for services the credit card company would take 3% every time. After 10 transactions they would have $30 just from the $100 moving around society. That $30 is stolen from the $100.
Buenos días!
James Madison must’ve been a time traveler. It’s as if he could see into the future:
"There are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations."
- James Madison (1788)
The only people I know who take privacy seriously are those that have negatively experienced loss of privacy. The same goes for security. The folks with the best locks on their houses have been robbed. My friends that own guns have been in situations where they were attacked and wished they could have better defended themselves.
Wise men learn from experience, but the wisest men learn from the experience of others. The rest will always be lazy and choose convenience over freedom.
