For my use case, Sparrow is best for on-chain, and I do not want to compromise. As an aside, are the developers of BlueWallet publicly known?

Yes, but how can you use that fork! 😆😉

Solo or small dev teams may not have resources to support both desktop/laptop & mobile. If I understand correctly, this may give GrapheneOS users access to some desktop/laptop only apps when desktop/laptop not available.

Good question! For full transparency:

In this scenario it can:

a) you used the same rescue key for all your swaps and then use the rescue key file on a different browser to scan your rescue key for refundable swaps

In these scenarios it can't:

b) you refund using the same browser (using local storage, not the rescue key file)

c) you download a new rescue key for every swap just like before which is the default behavior for privacy browsers on a fresh local storage (see https://x.com/kilrau/status/1899852590797488332)

For privacy-conscious users, option c) avoids potential linking.

Just to have said it: we launched this for a reason

The old approach of per-swap refund files didn't work in some very painful edge cases. The idea is that with option c) we can serve both needs - privacy for the privacy-focused and emergency rescue for those in need.

Please let us know what we can improve 🙏

Thank you for your detailed reply! I really appreciate your service. 🙏👍

Tempted, but unfortunately still a no for me. I have a Coldcard that's never been plugged in to a computer or phone. All transactions and firmware updates air-gapped with SD card. Is this possible with JadeLink? If so, great! Then really close for me. But last part... please remind me again why Jade does not support PSBTs. But sincerely, thank you. Looks like a beautiful product!

Thank you for this service! It is said to be E2EE, so I assume the "ends" must be one's device and Maple AI. So Maple AI has the encryption keys necessary to decrypt our input, then process and encrypt its response. What assurance is there that Maple AI is not storing and/or sharing the information it has access to, and is resistant to compromise?

I agree. Humans seem to have a desire for scarce things, but this can be outweighed by a difficulty or burden of possession, or perhaps it's something offensive to human nature. So, yes, scarcity not sufficient in all cases, but in conjunction with bitcoin's other properties, probably its most powerful.

This got me thinking. If bitcoin were not scarce, I cannot imagine it having value. But because of its scarcity, I cannot imagine it not having value.

Still 11of15? I think I heard there were plans to grow that number. I wonder if secrecy is to try to protect against government/regulatory attacks. Its use in wallets like Aqua & Breez is quite convenient. And extra privacy of blinded payment amounts much appreciated. Main chain bitcoin in and out of Liquid maybe nice privacy mixer if threat model not too severe. Wouldn't say amounts are money happy to lose, but could afford to lose. I wonder if with the advent of a service like Boltz if moving in and out could be considered less permissioned.

Thank you for Sparrow! 🙏 Question about its use with tails.net . On each boot, I manually run sudo dpkg -i ~/Persistent/path/to/sparrow.deb , wallets & config are saved with dotfiles feature. Is an appimage a possibility so I can just run that, or should I try to find a way to automate the running of the dpkg command?
