Can confirm nostr.wine + filter relay drastically fixed my UX on Damus. Combined with filtering paid only relays on global made it a brand new smooth app. Well done #[0]
bitcoin will not end world hunger. we should still strive for it.
i recall 1MB. down from 5mb initially
switched to paid only for global feed. we are so back 🤙
maybe. you’re also missing out on zaps. come back to testflight.
can you point me to where to find this li5? i’m in the test flight version with zaps
i’m hoping paid relays that mod spam should work eventually. spammers don’t have infinite sats.
also keen to limit global feed. using damus with a good mix of free and paid relays but global is unusable.
possible. i think wine is running strfry which seems to be the most performant db. haven’t added that one yet.
pv 🤙
how many years into linux use do you stop googling cli commands?
i can’t remember things like enabling / disabling ports or the git commands for the life of me.
nostr can do what web3/dapps were pretending to do, at scale, without the need for tokens, in an interoperable way.
i wonder how much brink was getting through this. was an easy way to fund bitcoin devs
this reminds me of the white power ranger’s car (spaceship?)… shame we never had an orange or purple ranger
a global monetary unit needs global consensus. our shitposts do not
agree with all of this but need to add that even if something were at odds with what satoshi envisioned, we can take a different path. he’s no king and was actually pushed out from the history i’ve been able to read about that era.
what matters is people joining the network (running nodes) and making conscious decisions about how to achieve consensus on a ledger that we all reference.
where are all the nyc nostriches for our first meetup? please boost and rt for reach. #[0] #[1] #[2]
