How much ram do you like on those HPs?
Religion organizes and centralizes power. Power corrupts

In this clown world, it very well may happen
No worries on my part and I think it was a positive step. My only point is we’re saying the grapes are sour when we ‘celebrate’ bitcoin price going down. Unless one isn’t heavily allocated of course.
It’s actually kind of unfortunate but I understand the thought around being positive in light of something bad.
I can’t imagine the El Salvador treasury enjoys their purchasing power not increasing nor anyone else with a significant portion of wealth in bitcoin.
The exchange rate of bitcoin for goods/services is the ultimate free market expression of the value of the censorship resistant, inflation resistant currency that is bitcoin. That exchange rate being lower is bad, not good.
A vpn + using voip services for legacy calls/texts (in other words, never use or give out your sim cell number) will further enhance your privacy
Also there are many ways to sync contacts. I believe tutanota can do it or etesync or next cloud or you can use davx 5 (card dav)… to ensure you don’t lose contacts
Try a separate profile with google maps. Only open it when you need navigation. I find it a pretty good compromise
Go self-sovereign computing, nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll . Why use proton drive when you can host your own data securely with nextcloud 😎
Is the nextcloud data encrypted? I don’t know why I remember thinking it isn’t from research I did a few years ago
I kind of agree that the masses won’t ever care about it. But hopefully in the same way that the masses don’t care about the current financial system (fiat currencies, banks, credit cards etc…), they just use them and expect them to work.
That’s cool, do you use a keyboard with it? Thinking of getting one of these as a psuedo laptop replacement
It just works.
However, it’s different than an iPhone, largely because you’re moving to android. Biggest things for me were how to back things up and making a decision about whether or not google play services are needed.
Oh I haven’t heard of sparrow terminal, will need to read more about this
I think it’s fair to say there has been adequate time for people to do their homework and acquire sats. The project is 14 years old now…
The adoption curve is what it is, don’t feel bad
nostr:npub1235tem4hfn34edqh8hxfja9amty73998f0eagnuu4zm423s9e8ksdg0ht5 is a good first step to opt out. Make the switch to Linux (mint or pop os) slowly, it’s much easier than you think.
It’s hard/impossible for a fish to realize it’s in water. Will be nice when we escape the fiat system and things like ‘liquidity’ become irrelevant.
