Type 2 diabetes is caused by an excess fat in the liver and the pancreas. In the liver it causes insulin resistance and in the pancreas it prevents the accute insulin secretion needed after meals. The fix is to take off the excess fat and not to put it back on.
Red meat is positively associated with with type 2 diabetes.

Good, because there is no debate about humans being primates... babe.
We are primates, not bovines or felines. You can't take nutrition advices from anyone, even doctors, who classify homo sapiens as felines.
Eat to satiety. Try 2lb. Add an extra meal.
Do you know if the Greeks have always consumed that much olive oil, or is it a recent phenomenon? How much were they consuming 100 years ago for instance?
Whole food vs oil, so olive vs olive oil. Olives is the full package (fat, fiber, protein). Olive oil is fat only. It's easy to over consume fats with oils.
You can't link life expectancy with the consumption of a certain food. Consuming large amount of olive oil doesn't mean you are going to leave longer. Populations who don't consume olive oil, or little of it, have the same life expectancy.
Based on the nutritional facts on the olive oil bottle in my pantry, 24L a year, thats 540 cal a day. If you add the oily fishes, nuts and seeds, avocados, olives,... that's a lot of daily fats. Unless on a high fat diet.
Not beliefs, just facts.
Because there is none. Text book carnivoo nonsense.
Olive oil, like any other oil, is a fat concentrate and shouldn't be consumed in large quantity. Better eat the whole olive instead of the oil.
Simplistic and guaranteed!!! Text book carnivore nonsense.

Regenerative farming satisfies the needs of the vegetarian, herbivores and carnivores.
https://www.nrdc.org/stories/regenerative-agriculture-101#what-is
Ranching, conventional or regenerative, is incompatible with wildlife. Meat production requires deforestation, fencing and predator extermination to protect grazers from harm so that they can be profitably sold.
"To protect their cows from predators and disease, or simply to ensure that they have access to food and water, ranchers across the country have supported wolf hunts, vulture and wild horse culls, and the deployment of cyanide bombs." - The Myth of Regenerative Cattle Grazing | The New Republic
"It is difficult to count the number of wild animals killed in the service of ranching interests by government bodies [...], but about a million animals per year is the federal government’s own estimate." - The Myth of Regenerative Cattle Grazing | The New Republic
There are also the other wildlife death cause by the destruction of the habitat, reduction of food and water sources, and pollution caused by meat production.
White Oak Pastures grazing methods require 2.5 times more land than conventional meat production. More regenerative meat means less wildlife.
To answer your question, meat production is way worst than plant production when it comes to violence and death to animals. Meat production also negatively impact wildlife and ecosystems' heath and diversity.
So yes, plant production is superior.

Don't forget the pesticides and plowing of small animals to grow grain to feed antibiotic fattened livestock.
It's part of the carnivores diet. Embrace it! Their is no cholesterol management on the carnivores diet, unless you want to use drugs.
At last, the wright answer! People have no idea what is going on and they jump in with unseless advises: don't eat carb, eat more fat, adopt the keto or carnivore diet, drink more water, chew gum, eat ice cream, one meal a day...
Good luck getting actual, useful advises.
Can't be that bad if it our body's primary source fuel is glucose and some of our organs can't live without it.
Chocolate is sugar. Even the most raw, organic, 100% cocoa just turns into sugar in your bloodstream
So the the 64g of fat and 11g of protein in my 100g chocolate bar will turn into sugar in my blood.
❤️👏 Plants are trying to kill you!

And they have been failing for 6 millions years. Homo sapiens, the modern form of humans, have been around for 300,000 years and its population has grow to over 8 billion.
