While I agree Bitcoin has more to do than be a store of value, there is absolutely no “just” when talking about storing and protecting your wealth that you have built with time and work. My friend knew of a guitar player who upon buying a new guitar would immediately take a quarter and put a huge scratch on the back. No one would know, but if anything ever happened, it likely wouldn’t be the worse thing I like that.
Saying that, I also think caring for the things you own is critical, and I question those who don’t. It is usually a sign that they treat many things with less care than they deserve.
