Help: how do you square the circle of family education about Bitcoin and opsec?
I have kids who I feel I really should be furnishing with hardware wallets and some sats as part of their financial education.
Yet, kids have friends. Friends have siblings, family, other friends. Statistically speaking some of these will be Globalist bugmen, headed for a life of petty crime, etc.
Do you accept these risks as necessary or stack privately in trust for when they’re all older and out of the house?
I’ve noticed sats have been few and far between on Fountain this week too.

This is true. But I do find the gold confiscation chapter in The Mandibles instructive. With a monopoly on violence they can send goons to your door and drag you away on a whim. The number of Bitcoiners who are truly KYC-free across the spectrum (as in no record of any interaction with the network, ever) is vanishingly small. Best outcome is if you never have to test your boating accident story.
Indeed, fiat is so effective at capping human potential that if an alien species were intent on preventing us from breaking out they couldn’t have envisaged a better mind virus (and goodness knows there are some strong contenders this past century).
