Anyone have a suggested next move as black?

Started the exercise thing a month early to see if I could stick it, so far so good! Yes yes, I know Apple are the evil empire but I respond well to stats, so it is what it is. How are your lifestyle improvements doing?
Days exercising: 35
Days intermittent fasting: 4
Days without chewing nails: 2
Last year’s wins that stuck included trading margarine for proper butter and increasing my beef intake.

Long some $SQ calls. Last Feb 75s @ 1.22. Feel enough air has been let out of the tires here.
My elder kid wants a share of Tesla for his birthday, I may buy him one in trust and also give him the equivalent BTC on a Satscard, maybe also the equivalent in silver coinage to be held for a few years as an instructive education about asset classes.
No point in giving him any dollars, really!
😂 very wise, I am sure. I mean my reticence to find out means I am stacking harder, I guess, but I would rather be a participant in the alt-economy. On the to-do list for the year.
Love this; I want to use Bitcoin more for retail purchases but am not sure I can be bothered if every “purchase” is considered a taxable event. I need to look into this more. Know any CRA friendlies who can shed some light?
There is a tendency to make perfect the enemy of the good and see controlled opposition everywhere but goodness, I enjoy listening to Vivek, Elon, Pierre putting that woke bullshit down and even if it is all part of the pantomime, I’d rather have a seat in that one than the one we’ve been sat in for the past few years.
this fucking guy got me back into jiu jitsu, now he’s got me doing grayscale, what the fuck is next?
Grayscale is excellent, I had no idea! Although seeing all these photos in black and white just makes me miss my Essential PH-1, I used that B&W camera all the time.
Excellent addition to my goals for 2024!
My literary collection is mostly focused on military aviation through a UK lens, World War II and the Falklands conflict. Movies-wise my holidays as a kid would have involved such classics as The Dambusters and 633 Squadron.
Combining the two, Guy Gibson’s memoir, Enemy Coast Ahead, is a fantastic read - not only for the historical account of the Dambusters raid, but also the fact he wrote it aged 25, having lived a life of experiences, accomplishments and responsibilities that today you’d expect would more befit someone twice his age.
Different times.
It’s really good, yes. I’m an aviation nut so was always going to appreciate these films, but I think they’re both as enjoyable as the first Cars movie. Good soul, especially the second.
Yes, yes, Aliens and Terminator 2, however I feel a superior sequel often overlooked is Planes 2: Fire and Rescue.
I admit it helps that my kid asks for “the Thunderstruck movie” (even if he thinks the song is about Thunder Trucks).
Seeing pregnant ladies and couples with young infants makes me irrationally happy these days; if it wasn’t wildly inappropriate I’d want to high-five every one.
I mean I love kids anyway, wish I’d had more myself, but every single new soul is a resounding GFY to the extinctionists who are just *relentless*; there’s nothing more important in this world. nostr:note1jrjt4vnw9j5y84wl2x6u7680wpz6lzffht8fgs5v0a2tpm8y6gsqkk7jft
It’s a Netflix movie the Obamas were involved in, concerning a devastating cyber-attack bringing down modernity.
Julia Roberts and Ethan Hawke, just released. Seems likely to fill the “if you know, you know” role the movie “Contagion” did prior to the lockdown pandemic.
Update: I started watching it and then it crapped out and now won’t play, citing some availability error. Self-fulfilling prophecy, perhaps.
I hate myself for playing along, but just sat down to watch “Leave the world behind” to see what the Buglords have in store for us next.
Excellent Grant Williams podcast with Doomberg this week. The green chicken has been doing the Lord’s work on energy for a long, long time - good section on current Hydrogen lunacies in this discussion.
Sheesh I was that close to buying a #bitkey but can’t proceed without entering my phone number, ffs. You do not need my phone number.
Thanks, I agree it’s important. I suppose my concern is more uncontrolled awareness that “this is a household with Bitcoin” than the potential loss of token sats they may have in a personal wallet. I may be overly paranoid, but I’m still here…
