How do they control it? They can try to impact price and/ or seize it but they can’t create new units without energy input. Gold has a lot of issues as being used for money, but I don’t think centralization is one of them.

Any church that is non denominational, which are growing pretty fast. There seems to be a lot of people that are tired of the religious dogma (including me) that has nothing to do with a relationship with God. You probably wont hear about them other than at a local level. For an example, I have a friend that has mostly neighbors meet once a week to talk about faith, the bible, other spiritually relevant topics at his house.
There is nothing we can do to atop any of these points. I generally disagree they are a good things. Truthfully we have no idea.

I think they are just a powerful tool. They can be good or bad depending on perspective.
It solves user’s problems while making itself more powerful. Seems like a fair tradeoff in the short run. Long term, who knows but it cant be stopped either way.
