Politics divides. Trade brings people together. Destroy political power & set trade free.

It is the ego or a false sense of self that makes you feel the need to frame your decisions as things done for someone else. It is an effort to avoid full responsibility for your actions & to place others in debt to you without their involvement. It's the creation of covert contracts where you expect others to hold up the end of deals there were never really made.

Even gifts are things you give to someone else for your own benefit. If you give a gift that carries with it some sort of debt or obligation, then it isn't actually a gift, it's an attempt at some sort of rotten or dishonest form of trade.

Everyone lives for themselves. There is no other way to live. The closest one can get to an exception to this law is in becoming a parent. And even then, the best thing you can do for YOURSELF is to be a good parent. It just so happens, that what is good for you is almost always in alignment with what is good for others too.

Unfortunately there are a lot of people with such a poor capacity for second & third order thinking that they don't actually understand where happiness comes from.

I suspect the number is approaching 80 to 90% most unknowingly with hormone disrupting products & processed foods. But probably ~50% are on some sort of prescription anyway.

I can do nothing for you except work on myself.

You can do nothing for me except work on yourself.

But the things we build & trade for our own gain will produce all sorts of positive externalities that produce a better world.

The number of people who believe a thing will forever & always have zero bearing on what is true.

Don't debase yourself to gain the affection or approval of horrible people.

IMO the death of Jesus is supposed to teach us respect for individual rights & the freedom to peacefully challenge any authority in order to demonstrate what is true & right & good.

When we fail to respect the rights of the individual it ultimately kills all that is true & right & good.

The only way to bring heaven to earth is to pursue truth over status, over consensus, & over authority. And the more dangerous it becomes to pursue truth, the more important it is that we do.

Like threading a needle

Just don't look. Be happy 😁

Basically all vegetable oils are shit. They were orignially machine oils made from crop waste. They have to be leeched & dissolved out with acetone & bleached to eliminate the stink. They really only started being added to foods as a form of quality shrinkflation during the 70s. And govt lobbying & corp marketing worked to frame them as healthy alternatives.

Canola oil (rapeseed oil)

Soybean oil

Corn oil

Sunflower oil

Safflower oil

Sesame oil

Grapeseed oil

Cottonseed oil

Palm kernal oil

Etc

The possible exceptions are:

Coconut oil

Avocado oil

& maybe "first cold press" extra virgin olive oil (tastes like shit IMO)

Hard to know if you're really getting what it says on the label with most olive oil (you're probably not). Avocado oil likely suffers from similar issues.

Best oils to cook with:

Beef tallow

Duck fat

Lard (bacon grease)

Real butter

Coconut oil

Especially when the "wrong" you have to admit to shatters everything you think you know. All of your former pride & "I'm special" or "I'm so smart" feelings become amplifiers of guilt & pain.

Socialism & communism are just philosophies for fooling slaves into supporting their own enslavement. And everytime a new policy produces some horrible result the wannabe slave masters will blame "capitalism" and "failures of the free market" so that people will support the next horrible policy too.

They want you to own nothing & then to have to pretend to be happy about it in order to avoid the pain & guilt of admitting you hate the results of policies you were duped into supporting every step of the way.

Unless you mean monetary debasement (inflation) which reduces wages, or income taxes which steal your wages more directly, there is really no such thing as "wage theft." The leftwing idea that a company making anything beyond what employees are paid is some sort of theft is rooted in a lot of basic misunderstanding.

People get paid guaranteed wages (which they agree to upfront) because they can't afford risk, or maybe they simply don't like the idea of working at something for years & potentially losing money in the process. When a company fails, the wage based employees are usually the only ones who made any money at all. There are a lot of wealthy people who get wealthy by earning what they can & just avoiding risk.

Everyone who risks money on a failing business generally loses whatever portion of savings they put in. Even most successful companies do not turn a profit for the first few years, so the owners are pouring money in & most of it is going directly to employees, & into tools to make employees more productive. People seek employment because they want to collect a predictable & reliable paycheck.

Embrace it, don't be a noob

#Bitcoin

Technology isn't politically neutral & people respond to incentives:

Even the dumbest socialist will call for things they don't like to be taxed. But they fail to apply the same logic when it comes to taxing productivity. Greedy & wishful thinking seems to allow them to cling to the idea that intelligent & productive people won't change their behavior if they are punished for being productive.

The effort to socialize the insurance system in the US is a decent example. The goal is to charge the healthy more in order to reduce the cost of being unhealthy. When my premiums quintupled I dropped my insurance & closed my bank accounts to avoid the fines. I had no desire to contribute to a system that was going to charge me more for being healthy. Using cash & bitcoin I was able to function just as well with no bank account.

There has long been a push to eliminate cash, & to favor large corporations over small businesses, because all political parasites know that they have to reduce people's options in order to extract more from them. Bitcoin undermines all of that. Bitcoin creates an incentive to break all of their rules, & defy all of their regulations, in order to produce the best that you can, to trade for the hardest money ever created. The fact that bitcoin transactions cannot be censored makes it a tool of liberation.

"Universal" healthcare programs are dead. "Universal" basic income (#UBI) is dead. #Socialism is ultimately dead. #Bitcoin kills them. #GunControl is dead. 3d printing & small scale manufacturing tools have killed it. #HateSpeech laws are ultimately dead, because #Nostr & #Keet will kill them. #Technology is not politically neutral. Better tech tends to favor individual #liberty & #freedom. #Humanity thrives to the degree that the desires of power hungry fools can be made irrelevant by technology.
