I fondly refer to it as hyperfocus disorder. Behavior management helped me some. Wish a timer worked for me.
I just try to find the part I’m perseverating on rather than doing… then actually look at that portion. Like with my eyeballs (👀). Once it’s in my visual cortex 🧠 my focus tends to follow.
I have an old bottle of Bulletproof MCT I’ll use from time to time. I don’t know how they derive theirs.
It has crazy low viscosity
Why podcasts are great! You can actually explore the details, incentives, and find the nuance. I’d love to hear different views in a respectful discussion. Long format is the only way to go!
I suspect humans have evolved with seed oils, and at low levels we don’t have good clinical research. At the same time we’ve turned it into a common additive, along with gross amounts of sugar, sweeteners, dyes, mold inhibitors, and preservatives.
Erucic acid in tiny amounts may not be dangerous 🤷♂️. But most are not ingesting tiny amounts. These additives are in an incredible amount of products.
We all know how 2% yearly inflation is working out for us. We should be looking at our food through a similar lens.
Laughing to myself imagining how most of our responses would be flagged elsewhere. 😆
They cause inflammation. Typical history I heard was about rapeseed oil (now referred to as Canola). Was literally poisonous to humans and caused serious maladies. Then they found a way to filter most of the toxin out and sold the public that it was good for their heart (with industry funded studies as I understand it). At least that’s the short version, and I’m sure someone can correct or expand on this and other seed oils.
I always wonder the same thing. Is it as innocent as someone struggling to pay for their fiat hamster wheel, cover fiat capital controls, or someone learning a lesson?
Or is it attempted manipulation by someone not realizing there are convicted buyers of last resort.
Some days I look toward the news or stonks, and wish I hadn’t.

Just met yet another once #Bitcoin entrepreneur here at nostr:npub1theparkprcs70dcs437ke9zzwsr6u60f8flu7rg28m30438aep9sd94dha who pivoted his startup to traditional banking because of regulatory headaches. It is no exaggeration to say that US regulators, through a combination of incompetence and malfeasance, are driving these business under or out of the country altogether.
Sad that we have capital controls crippling the innovation and entrepreneurial spirit. The people with that kind of drive are also the ones that will mostly vote with their feet.
I’d love for innovation to exist here, but it’s becoming untenable.
Ewww. So disturbing on so many levels. Guessing the AI likes everyone with a single tooth. Good thing the pizza looks liquified. 🤢
Substack CEO Chris Best Doesn’t Realize He’s Just Become The Nazi Bar by Mike Masnick. It’s important to look at this when we think about nostr. Now before you jump to say Mike’s pro-censorship, remember he wrote the very influential piece on social media: Protocols, Not Platforms: A Technological Approach to Free Speech*
Take a read, I’m curious what folks think? How do we create spaces where we can both have free speech and be able to kick the nazis out of the bar?

Would much of this be resolved if/as relays become easier and more ubiquitous?
I have not. I’ll have to check it out. I’d heard the concept before, but couldn’t recall the first time. Found it yesterday and quoted it. I had first found it in:
A (Very) Short History of Life on Earth
By Henry Gee.
It feels a little egocentric to anthropomorphize the universe and entropy, but it’s also pretty cool. 😆
Btw - you should put in Bitcoin Lightening Tips address in your profile.

Lol. Waiting for the update. Also reminds me of trolls on 🐦 vs meeting in real life.
What is a zapathon exactly and what's the point of it? I'm not being snarky - I'm genuinely curious.
Glad you asked. I didn’t and was completely confused. Wondering if there are rules. Apparently there are none. You can always just find a dev or something else that provides value and go nuts.
