It will be "good" in terms of UX at the start but then as you want to do more and more with your nodes and hardware in general the software will start to limit you.
The original post was made regarding the umbrel home box(hardware) as opposed to the software itself.
If you want to start running a node I would say get some hardware yourself for half the price of umbrel home and it will end up high spec anyway, then install umbrel and go from there :)
