Around four weeks ago I came up with an idea for a "small" app. Wrote down a few notes and sent them to my boss.
I never got a reply and a week after I dismissed the idea myself as "not useful". Today I was offered additional internal funding to do the thing. I told them that my first idea sounded better than it is and that I really don't want to waste time and money on it.
They accepted my decision but I still have to write a project paper so some other idiot has to build it.
