Christian, husband, father, bitcoiner.

At several weeks into Trump’s second term, losing the 2020 elections was likely the best thing that could have happened. Had he won the 2020 election he would have been a lame duck from the start. He now is able to work with a significantly stronger mandate and has learned to be a much better and more disciplined president in his second term.

Sir, this is a Wendy’s.

I’m interested to see how close anyone with a bitaxe solo miner has gotten to solving a block. My high score is 734.31M.

I consider it a win that my kid asked for his allowance in bitcoin tonight.

It’s not a technical thing that hides it. It would be the policy of the mappers to not include SSIDs that have those terms.

These preemptive pardons are a scary precedent to start. It is something very easy for abuse to happen with and there isn’t any good recourse against it after the fact.

I don’t think I would buy a straight blow back 9mm. I would save for some sort of delayed blowback model.

Dad advise: when you need to blow of steam with (or because of) your kids, the solution is a nerf war. Nothing like running around the house doing head shots only. Just make sure everyone has eye protection.

I feel like the comments on anything bitcoin related on arstechnica is just a pile on from /r/buttcoin.

A lot of the hate seems to be about perceived energy use. Seems like we have to do a much better job of explaining why bitcoin mining can help the grid.

Honestly I’m surprised I haven’t found a block yet. I had it running overnight.

You might be right there. I need to explore more exotic cooling options.
