Yep, they had a pretty good mix of sandy clay soil. That family will have great success with whatever they plant.

For smaller projects like this I use an A-frame I built a few years ago to mark contour. Then follow the line with a walk behind tiller to loosen the soil. Once loose, you can easily use a square shovel to “pump and dump” the soil on the downhill berm. You can get pretty accurate this way. Anything longer than 100-200ft is recommend a tractor or skid steer. Unless you have a few other people to help.
Swale installation for a client. We did a total of 3 swales to help slow and infiltrate the water on their property. They plan on planting up the berm side with various berries and other medicinal plants. I’m pumped to see the foundation of their food forest go from idea to action.

Yeah it’s a pretty generous discount but it helps educate people about BTC and in the long run the total value I gain ends up being more than the standard dollar rate.
I definitely had to force myself to watch it through. It had some higher level terms that I wasn’t familiar with.
I too had some similar questions. From what I can tell since we live in a debt based economy, most, if not all large companies would fall prey to this as soon as the dollar is devalued enough. I try to think about it like what happened Lehman Bros but on a mass scale. Still trying to wrap my head around it.
The hidden reality if you think YOU own any securities. Here’s a hint, we already own nothing and we’re happy. Your property is collateral for other entities without your knowledge or approval.

Merry Christmas Eve to all you #Nostriches
My Spirit has been renewed from being off work the last 10 days. It was a grind to get here but all the smiles and joy are so worth it.
Can’t wait for tonight. Our whole family of 40… yes 40 will be continuing our tradition of staying the night at our Mema’s house. We all love this time together, cracking jokes, watching the kids play, and all waking up on Christmas morning together to see what Saint Nick has in store for us.
I don’t know how many years our Mema has left for us to keep this tradition alive but we will sure keep it bursting with spirt this year and Lord willing, many to come.
I hope you all have a Very Merry Christmas filled with love and joy. That’s what it’s all about!!
