It could also be discretionary where npubs decide whether they’d like to display it or not. According to nostr.band you have received 150K sats with a follower count of 1577. That to me speaks volume about the quality of your notes 💯
That’s really interesting. I think displaying zaps received alongside follower counts could help signal quality. Obviously if an npub has a high follower counts you would expect a high amount of zaps received. However if an npub has a relatively low follower count but a relatively high amount of zaps received that can signal quality at a glance.
#zaps received are a clear and powerful signal of the value provided by npubs on #nostr. It is by far a superior marker to the followers count and we should strive to display it alongside of it on profiles.

I'm kind of tired of hearing this "never sell your bitcoin" grift. Yea, that's great in a world of corporate finance where apparently there are huge lines of lemmings to give you money for basically free.
However, on the retail side, almost no good options exist without significant counterparty risk. I resorted to having to use Unchained because my use was for an investment so i formed an LLC and was able to make that work. Great.
