The problem is people who do know bitcoin think they know patience...
Folks today don't grasp that when bitcoin was $6, there were no hardware wallets, no seed words, only a wallet.dat file that needed to be backed up *after every transaction*
I lost a lot of bitcoin because backup & recovery was so raw before BIP32. Whoever moved their 2010 mined coins yesterday has earned a lot of resoect in my mind ๐
10x every 5 years may feel too good to be true, but it also feels the same no matter what price or which year you enter the workforce
Keep in mind that "x% inflation" felt normal for decades. Same exponential trend; same psychological & social dynamics.
Everyone I have ever properly taught to hodl #bitcoin has made a handsome gain. Some unfortunately gave very early & hefty donations to all the remainig holders. Live & learn!
