It's not just about the cost, I think we have a user experience that I consistently hear is at least on par, if not a step ahead of most other wallets. Forgive me for asking, but since you commented on the time required to "test and troubleshoot" -- have you used a SeedSigner?

I don't see significant risk with a used 1.3. Of course don't communicate the intended purpose for the board, but I would use a pre-owned 1.3 all day long.

It's super challenging to acquire conventional HWWs in places like Russia, China & parts of the Middle East. But what DO bitcoiners in these places have access to? Raspberry Pi Zero and the other basic components you need to build a SeedSigner.
