A real life super hero in my kids’ story book of life.

Disappointment goes both ways, sir. I learned a lot from you, and thought you were better than this. Here we are indeed.

One hour flight away from an almost eight hour layover in SJU. Plenty of time to play with #nostr

Muun was wildly easy to set up. No invite needed. Took me less than a minute. Didn’t expect it to be that easy!

Reptilian. Dang, and they say hodlers are psychopaths!

I haven’t posted much anywhere in ages, so I’m just going to plop it out here if anyone is interested.

We are leaving the Caribbean tomorrow morning. Been here a few days short of a month with the family and had a wonderful time.

So far this year roughly two and a half of eight months were spent in America. Two of those were spent trapped in Florida because I was recovering from surgery.

The balance of the year was happily spent in El Salvador, which we loved.

So what’s going to happen back in Florida? That’s what I’m working on. Here’s what I want to work on with the family… (this is my style of homeschooling but we all do it for the most part because it’s fun)

AR 15 and shotgun basics

Range time and some classes with the boys

Radio skills and basic theory

Mechanic skills (basic maintenance and how things work)

Basics of diesel engines

Basic welding

Fighting

Sourdough

History of money

Track the decline of the RE market

Track the bitcoin bull run

Whatever else catches our interest

Basically I’m trying to get the family ready for running a small farm, wherever that may materialize.

Why America? Why not go somewhere else? We did. There are just so many darned opportunities and I really want to take advantage of them and not wait for things to get stupid.

From what we have seen America is currently the best option for us with the most liberty and opportunities. It suits our current needs, and allows us to save money and snipe opportunities as they arise.

I’ll be posting here more so follow or ask questions if you fancy.

The cost isn’t what matters, it is the engagement and new experiences… TOGETHER!

And they can be totally mundane things, like getting the oil changed or exploring the back side of a grocery store. They just have to be real and you have to be engaged.

We have taken some expensive trips but they aren’t normal vacations. They are multi-month adventures with a specific family goal. And every day is an adventure.

Wise words
