From what I learned: They are not breaking terms of service of any AI platform to my knowledge. They can always find a reason to shut them down but the ToS doesn't mention anything that would put the team in peril.

Now he launched PayPerQ, (website: ppq.ai), a sleek and functional ChatGPT4 experience which operates on a pay-per-query model via Bitcoin micropayments.
