Svelte 5 ruined the framework so badly I might have to switch completely away. I just discovered that you have to use`$state.snapshot` any time you want to pass data to functions that won't work with a`Proxy` — and it doesn't work recursively. This is on top of tons of subtle semantic changes having to do with when reactive stuff runs. It's a totally different framework, and it's stupid.

Is dart good? Maybe I'll just go back to clojurescript. Or maybe go all in on rust.

I am mostly a Damus user, though occasionally I’ll get on Amethyst and test out Primal here and there.

I have not found any web clients that work well.

Nostrudel might be leading in web, I’m not sure, but even there you don’t see reactions in the feed without clicking through the note. Maybe you do, but I’m not seeing them. The lack of consistent experience across web clients makes it hard to use them.

It feels like nostr is inherently more mobile friendly for some reason.

In terms of testing, I probably tested more clients than anyone here. When I ran nostrapps I had to test them all to take screenshots.

Have very good/bad news about WoT relay.

The latest version is finally super stable and fast and can run on a very small VM now.

The bad news is when you upgrade, your old DB gets nuked and starts a new one.

Basically lmdb was causing a lot of stability issues, so we are using badger DB now.
