I think Itry to understand how rolling the dice could be inferior to hardware random generator. The only idea I have is that with bad algorithm of rolling you might get some numbers more often than others. So knowing the algorithm (e.g. was published on YouTube) makes it easier to guess the passphrase. Some dice algorithms might be more intuitive too.
So if you prepare your dictionary to prioritise such hacks ….
Gossip / Outbox models being implemented into additional mainstream clients have been the plan for a while now. This was a talk at #Nostrasia where nostr:npub16c0nh3dnadzqpm76uctf5hqhe2lny344zsmpm6feee9p5rdxaa9q586nvr and nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s both stated that this capability would be added to their respective clients later in 2024. No one should be surprised by this.
Thus far we have several clients that have support:
Gossip
Snort
Iris
Lume
Coracle
These client's devs have mentioned adding support in the future:
Amethyst
Primal
Damus
Do Nostrudel or Nostur have support now or have they mentioned adding support in the future? nostr:npub1n0sturny6w9zn2wwexju3m6asu7zh7jnv2jt2kx6tlmfhs7thq0qnflahe nostr:npub1ye5ptcxfyyxl5vjvdjar2ua3f0hynkjzpx552mu5snj3qmx5pzjscpknpr ?
Any other clients that I'm missing?
Was there discussion about adding nip46 support to main clients?
Ok so its more like every combination is equally random but it is easier to check some combinations first while brute-forcing. This makes sense.
What does not (in my brain) is that one random method is superior to another. Assuming my 12 words are all different what math would support such a claim?
I actually cannot find anything regarding this topic on the lessons. Am I simply not searching long enough?
If you choose the words it's a certain level of entropy, lower than if you use dices to create it, that is very likely lower than letting it made by a device built for it.
Our brain can't be random enough, dices should be more than one (much more) and with specific characteristics to be more random.. and so on.
Have you read 21 Lesson made by nostr:npub1dergggklka99wwrs92yz8wdjs952h2ux2ha2ed598ngwu9w7a6fsh9xzpc?
Nope. Will look for it. Thanks!
That makes sense, but does not fit in my head. 2048 words, 12 or 24 of them. How one phrase can be less random?

What exactly means “low entropy phrase”?

and I thought that the homelands are usually upgraded in the event of a complete failure (on average twice a year). The failure is rarely caused by hardware, mostly by the drive to fix or improve what has been perfectly working for the last 5 months
Is it not the right definition?
I think I raised it about a year ago. Must have been censored.
Every time I look at my cats,
sleeping all day, eating, playing, sleeping more.
I would like to be a cat in my next life.
Then I remember they used to live "free" on the street (at least two of them)
one still jumps on a loudest sound, the other has only three paws to remember his youth.
Makes me reconsider

Talking about rich, try and add some parsnip root and broccoli
In a sense - it is always 5 to midnight (to borrow from Cinderella)
For what little I understand it is a a complex new internet with a replacement for all 1970 tech (TCP/IP, DNS etc) plus plugins for the transmission layers including even blue tooth mesh
Do you wear one-legged trousers/pants?
I think #GNUnet is at heart very close to the #nostr. It should be possible to just add support for it as a network layer (not that I know what I am talking about )
This is hopeless
Any ideas?
