I’m actively trying to kick my sugar habit as well as avoid seed oils and preservatives…except tonight. Tonight, I was weak and decided to pick up some ice cream.

Spent 20 mins trying to figure what shoppe was worth the sats. Ended up at the grocery because the shoppe I chose closed early. Not taking that as a sign, I went against my better judgement and purchased a new flavor. Brought it home only to realize it has cornstarch & preservatives. Now that I’m done with dinner, It’s way too late to go and get anything else🤦🏽‍♀️

Whenever something distracting pops in my mind I excuse myself to the restroom, set a timer for 3 -5 mins, and flood my brain with the thought. I only allow myself to think about what’s already in my head without forcing it to change. Before the timer runs out I’m usually over it and ready to get back to what I was doing. Sometimes I end up crying the whole time but when the timers up I dry my face and keep it pushing.
