I suppose I ~could~ care less what people think. It bugs me, but at the same time, I know I'm significantly less likely to get sick or carry anything over to my GMA's house.
I did have some big ol' country boys acting moderately threatening towards me once. Following me around, talking shit about masks and the people who wear them. Deliberately loud. That really concerns me.
I saw three other shoppers in the Supermarket while I was there. All masked. Later in the morning on Monday last, It was significantly more crowded and no one (that I saw) was wearing a mask.
So backwards. We're all gonna die.

It took me about a month before the anxious voice "Check notifications! Check follower count! How many likes!? SCROLL! REFRESH!" finally faded away. I still check Twitter every once in a while, too. Maibly for breaking news. I gotta tell ya, it's liberating not to have to think about it. The Fedi is therapeutic by comparison.

Yes. I truly believe that I have come face to face with pure, unadulterated evil. I've never shaken hands and met the eyes of pure unadulterated good, but if there's one, there has to be the other, right? The existence is at least implied.
Chicken marinade:
I made this up years ago. I call it Asian Black Marinade (or sauce when thickened) on account of the fungus and bean sauce even though it's very red. Notice no acid, so it can go long. I'll squeeze a lime in around lunch time.
1/3 c Liquid Amino
2 tbs Black bean chili sauce
2 tbs Red miso paste
1 tbs Mirin
2 tbs Sesame oil
1 tsp Fish sauce
1 cl Minced garlic
1 Star Anise
1-2 Black Fungus
1 tsp Chinese five spice
1 tsp Crushed red pepper
1/8 c Water

That may not be exactly correct. As far as I can tell, any old citizen who simply possesses a classified document without being cleared is actually not committing a crime. The Espionage Act criminalizes disclosure to foreign nationals, unlawful retention (that is, refusing a request to turn them over), and a number of other things. But it does not appear to criminalize possession itself.
Please point me to the proper case or statute if I've missed it.
