What to expect with the bitcoin halving tomorrow...

Nothing.

The halving will happen programatically behind the scenes but to anyone except the miners, there will be no obvious change. The miners will notice as the number of new bitcoins being minted will be cut in half from around 900 per day to 450 per day. That's all the halving is, a built in mechanism to slowly reducing the supply of new bitcoin by half every 4 years.

It's also probable that the price will be unaffected, it might take weeks or even months before the halving impacts price positively. It may even go down tomorrow.

But the halving is a huge change and an essential part of Bitcoins design.

Just don't expect fireworks tomorrow.

If I edit the Umbrel address in Primal it then allows me to add it but won't connect?

I think nostr is still, understandably, still too Bitcoin centric for most people.

Wonder what happens if you mention bits and sats on Nostr?

The problem is Nostr is VERY bitcoin centric so there’s a lot of preaching to the converted. I stay on X to try and spread the word to all of the pre-coiners.

What extra features does this give you on top of just using the Alby extension?
