Yeah, still hard to know if that is the only good content you'll ever see from them, I'm for the easy zaps-hard follows, just like in real life

For me one post to follow someone is just noise, I need one post and one full check of their profile to know it is really someone I want to follow

I still think priority message with attached sats amount for visibility, both per DMs, comments or feedbacks would be the best way to give more signal to the information shared. If I could be sure that with certain amout of satoshis, my request would be seen and responded in a certain amount of time, I would personally gave away way more suggestions to developers and others.

When the crowd gets bigger, and I do not take much in a digital world, there have to be a fast way to get louder to be seen and heard.

Men builds and protects, women motivates and maintains

Mine keep 55° with the metal dissipator, never had a problem

Are you doing the Open?

Primal is making me zaps so much thanks to the wallet, it's amazing, but it seems to do not update all the daily posts and so I need to go back to Amethyst were everything is fine but zapping is slower.

Am I the only one having catching problems with Primal?

Just finished "The case against sexual revolution" by Louise Perry, very well explained vary arguments about porn, rape, sexuality, marriage and so on.

I would say worse, way worse and without any doubts

I found the section "The problems with voting" from page 4 to be very well written. The article is from the creator of the Merkel-Tree idea, someone that knows what he is talking about

"The Myth of the Rational Voter" by Bryan Caplan, seems to be the book where he found those arguments

Yes I do not know either I just look it the Mods work and we can see that many people ask nothing in return to the things they do because it is out of passion or necessity. I would too give my help to improve the software I work or play with often, it is in my full interest.

Regarding the quality coders, I agree, but we already know it will take less and less ability to do such things with AI, and more creativity that is much more easy to share.

Books, games, music, are just mere information. Once it is created, everybody can have access to it and the "right" to own it is just a moral (but useful) case.

It is all about truth and its importance in valueing information. As you say "we pay with our wallets" but in reality when we pay we are not giving value for something already in existance but for something that could be created.

Take the example with music, you pay the artist to listen to music that have already been created, but in reality you are giving to him money to value his future works.

With books is the same, you pay money to value past works, hoping you can support him to create other works.

Games' case could be the same but in reality, games nowadays are always works in progress full of patches and DLCs. I think that the ultimate games are the ones that as per bitcoin-core example, will evolve via open-source merging of owned-by-everybody code.

Yes, I did get it. But what's the factual alternative if amazon business cannot run no more the service at the actual price? Increasing the fee and giving the ad free solution seems the only viable thing to do with their actual structure.

I still think that going with torrent to bankrupt the actual streaming platforms is ok as soon as if it is missing IDGAF.

Most posts I make on Nostr feel to some extent like a challenge. And I post them anyway. I enjoy that challenge. I write them in part *because* they are challenging.

I'm putting uncomfortable thoughts into the decentralized Nostr void to anyone who wants to host what I say on their relay.

That's why I'm here. I'm adding my thoughts to this medium to help advance it. I write here the things I wouldn't post to the normies on Twitter/X. Only on Nostr do I embrace my weirdness and inappropriateness. I analyzed this ecosystem, and decided that you, and only you, yes you reading this who took the time to be here, deserved to see my real or "based" thoughts to the extent that you care about them. And that includes my weaknesses. I've shown those in some of my recent posts, and I'll continue to show you my weaknesses here. I wrote about the times I got rekt in a fight and cried. I'll type that kind of thing out here, and only here, on Nostr, again and again.

If I post something intellectually polarizing I start to think, "what would my followers think?" But then I'm immediately like, "I don't know. Who cares. If they hate my truths here then were they even real my followers to begin with? Maybe they need to be challenged."

Meanwhile, I *do* care what you all think in aggregate, am willing to disagree with you individually on certain topics, but want to hear your thoughts. And I'm willing to change my views based on you. In fact, many of my Twitter/X posts are there over the past years because I want to see what people comment with before I write my full-on reports. The same is likely true for Nostr. This is raw ground. I want your thoughts. I won't bend my truths toward you, and I'll challenge you, as I expect you to challenge me.

So, if someone takes the effort to be on Nostr and some how reads this, I want them in my ecosystem. I want their criticisms as much as their praise. Criticize me here. I'll enjoy it. Let's go. You're awesome.

And then I'm like "What about my business contacts?" I have like these various billionaire institutional close contacts that are richer than me but have to wear ties to work. But I mean, if they are reading this right now, they are fucking awesome. I think, any of my serious existing business contacts who are cool enough to be here, are likely people I want to continue to work with. If they don't like what I say, they can bring it up with me. Otherwise they can appreciate my rawness here, and recognize that Nostr is where I post my random thoughts or my deep thoughts, and either of which are my raw thoughts.

My goal is to be real, and to advanced this protocol.

The day that far more people are on Nostr, is the day I will practice more public moderation. Until then, and that's probably far away, it's the medium where I will drop f-bombs and describe weird situations and thoughts. Let's go.

Full respect, this type of content from someone with such a big reach is unmatched. Ty Lyn

"This feeling of hopelessness derives from the misconception that you are helpless. Nothing could be further from the truth. You are certainly helpless if you believe that the solutions to the chaos you witness from the particular lens you are looking through will come from a government or the goodwill of society. No one is coming to save you. However, you can save yourself. In fact, the only way to turn the deep feelings of helplessness into positive action is to believe that you yourself can effectuate change in your own life. The tools to make your world a better place are at your fingertips. All you have to do is use them. And if a critical mass of people make the conscious decision to take advantage of the tools at their fingertips, they can make the world a better place."

Scammers just scamming

PS: It is the Uniswap of the BSC chain...

frYes, the real world is as you said. While with internet you facilitate 1000x to get those "lunatics" together. So you are not going to be no more the lonely weird person that changes his mind thanks to face to face societal feedback.

Here you create an echo chamber that increase your convictions and will surely create real implications.

I'm pro free speech but we need at least to acknowledge that anonymous/pseudonymous free speech makes good things better and bad things worse

Thinking about a particular way of managing zaps that I feel like it would personally boost the amount of zaps I sent.

Premise: We are still too used to Like post and not all clients allow for a fast zap system or you can't even zap at all (see Damus).

What about collecting daily all the Likes (or impressions) given to the posts and decide whether to share a choosen amount between them at any given time?

Example: during the day I sent 15 likes, at the end of the day, or randomly, I can access my wallet, connect to Nostr and retrieve those impressions and share amongst them a choosen amount of Sats.

Thoughts?

Heard about it, never looked into it. I've seen mixed reactions. I'll check what I can understand.

I'm just not pro altcoins because they have no value outside their unit of mesurement for energy/time/utility/scarcity. There is no sense to have different unit for the same concept. Just as having both metric and imperial unit have no utility.

We just need ONE monetary unit with the best attributes, and we know there is just one.

You are getting information from articles and videos of more then 2 years ago, take from an interview made in a anything-crypto channel where the audience is not looking for a bitcoin-maxi. Saylor is also famous for his anti-bitcoin tweet in the past, completely changing its position in 2020. He become way more maxi during 2022 and 2023.

Monero is a good technology but it does fall in the hard cap fallacy, making it inflationary as any current currency.

Bitcoin in its layer 1 is and will never focus in a privacy way because as Saylor said, the value is in the open and fully trasparent ledger. Differencies can be made when you look into the layers 2 (as Lightning Network), here possibilities are bigger because their protocol are shaped to integrate more programmable functions, like Monero's ones.

Just listen to his newer interviews. I don't ever recall him to talk about any other "crypto" because with a second and third layer everything can be done just with Bitcoin.

Bitcoin in layer 1 will never be a currency because its main focus will always be decentralization and security. The Trilemma is clear, and the layer 1 sacrifice the scalability part, making it possible in others layers.
