Good stories are lies that reveal truths more real than reality.

Zap it

I see a zap that came through. But I can't see who made it????

Snort zap test. Somebody want to zap this, and I'll zap you back the same amount. Want to test my new NIP-57 enabled wallet on Snort.

Welcome! Looking forward to having you here!

Updated my Nostr lightning address to cyberhub@stacker.news for the NIP-57 support. Excited to see zaps show on notes now! Open protocols win!

#[0] how can I grab note ids in NostrGram? Also, when copying npubs from a profile, a subtle confirmation like #[1] would be a welcome improvement over the interruptive alert box.

Tried tagging #[2] here so trying again. Dev teams building a better future in real time before our eyes. It's amazing to see. Can't wait for zaps all around. Got some fun ideas planned.

Thanks! And welcome to Nostr!

Centralized power brings imbalance. Bitcoin and Nostr bring balance.

PS. All my AI art is completely free for anyone to use. No permissions needed.

Agree. I think of scheduled reposts as being a valuable part of the content discovery process. It's like a discovery algorithm that is controlled by the people you follow.

I generally agree. But I can easily think of situations where reposting is useful. I think of scheduled reposts as an algorithm for content discovery that is controlled by the people you follow.

Sure. But here I'm talking about the situation where people would have wanted to see it, but missed it because they weren't on Nostr at the time.

I think scheduled boosts would be a great Nostr feature that could improve content discoverability. Me boosting a note immediately after the author probably just means that my followers will see the same note twice. Me scheduling a note to be boosted in ~1 hr probably means that fresh eyes will see it.

Tell them how nostr solved the spam problem over a weekend while Twitter hasn't been able to solve it over a decade.

Tell them how nostr could enable companies to spend their advertisement dollars directly to customers instead of to tech giants.

Tell them how creators can offer VIP access and features to their audience based on zap contributions.

Tell them how they own their data and every client is now competing to be their favorite.

🤯 what's the simplistic description for how this is working?
