I got a phone call from someone at Coinbase saying they saw unusual activity on my account logging in from Salt Lake City. She asked a few harmless questions and then she said that she wanted to help me get logged back in.

I lied and said I wasn’t home she offered to schedule something later.

I said she should be able to see that have a zero balance and haven’t used Coinbase in years.

She immediately hung up on me. Social engineering.

I’m trying to add lightning channels on my RTL.

When I attempt to add a peer I receive an error message “dial proxy failed: Dial TCP ………timeout”.

I’ve tried the LN addressed for Start9, JB55 and a couple others.

Anyone know what this error msg means?

My RTL wallet is funded.

My guess is they Will influence politicians to gain as much control as possible. Someday laws will be implemented prohibiting bitcoin as currency at the retail level.

Not sure how the international markets will respond if this happens.

I had a thought that made me ponder.

What if spot ETFs require more state oversight than in the past.?

What if the state requires all on ramps and off ramps to be regulated by the state?

What would that do to user sentiment?

What would that do to user adoption?

How would the rest of the world react?

What if the SEC is successful at shuttering all the #bitcoin on-ramps in the US and the State and their “approved partners” (ie Grayscale) become the largest shareholder of %btc?

Would the rest of the world even want it at that point? Would sentiment grow stronger due to scarcity or would sentiment consider bitcoin to be undesirable at that point?

Who else has an opinion on this question?

I think #btc price will double within a year of the second BTC ETF. Grayscale will lead the pack. Price will rise. When other fund managers follow BTC will rocket up.

Just my opinion .

Is it possible to do a group project in Nostr and track everyone’s contributions as a percentage and then have contributors receive payments based on contributions?

Robin Hood is popular with young and medium net worth consumers.

So this signals to me that there’s a niche of young folks who see value in #BTC .

I should do this. I have trouble sleeping. Also we did this in the Navy at sunset. “Darken ship”. Interior lights go to red so that when you go outside your vision is already adjusted for the dark. If you’re outside and come in, you aren’t blinded by white lights.
