I just asked about this very thing (no power) the other day in another feed. Only got one response. Nice to see some others here. Yes, it is far fetched, but for those that survive (heaven forbid) a nuclear blast(s) because of proximity it could be a real thing. Sure, there may be some generating of solar power but the “what if” still exists.

Thanks! I appreciate the response. True, it is an extreme “what if” but at the same time if all the eggs are in one basket and you can’t access said basket, what then?
I know I am new at this whole thing, but something hit me the other night and this “what if” question came up…Bitcoin is a digital currency and relies on a power supply and the internet. What if, say in an apocalyptic scenario, there is no power and thus no access to internet? What happens to all this digital currency? Is it just 💣 at that point? What’s the backup?

Because of him I purchased my first tiny but years ago. I have watched his journey through another social media outlet and have been impressed with the way he communicates his ideas. Because of him, I am now here on #nostr and learning a new way to interact with others.
