Do you have experience quitting caffeine? How long did it take to get back to baseline?

I've been without caffeine for 2 weeks. Mood and motivation are not back yet.

Wanted to sleep better and have a regular heartbeat. Feeling more calm now, but I'm not sure if this is worth it 😄 I've developed a deep association between coffee and coding over the years.

Took me a couple weeks but by then I felt great. Maybe stick it out a little longer.

What I will say is once you actually have caffeine again - WHOA. Feels very different after getting to baseline.

I keep an old phone plugged in adn on WiFi for such instances...not the perfect solution, but works for me.

Okay, so I went to nostr net and looked through coracle and I get totally up to date posts, so it's definitely an #amethyst issue - I've added screenshots of my feed in Coracle and Amethyst, as you can see one is up to date, one isn't. Weird.

It could backfire, but I feel like ecash / cashu / nuts / whatever you want to call it is an amazing way to market nostr.

A while back Cash App grew insanely fast on Twitter by having massive giveaways to people participating in their tweets. I feel this could also be done with nuts. In theory, you could hold contests where people join and get some nuts by participating in retweets etc... and by signaling they are part of the contest. Then, some generous Nutters could dispense a few nuts to all, or a giant GRAND Nut to a lucky one or few.. or a combination of both. It could be a great way to get the word out about Nostr and what it's capable of.

of course, this would require in-client nut wallets and a UX / terminology that makes it easy to understand (or not have to understand at all)

Would have to be able to easily explain why nuts have value and aren't just some badge or achievement

what a day

had a team of contractors over doing work on the house. one of our two cats emerged after an hour or so after being freaked out. the other car didn't. the door was propped open all day. spent several hours being pretty sure that our cat got out of the house, and we couldn't find him.

It was pretty distressing, honestly, but he eventually emerged from the basement. We have no idea where he was but now we're just relieved that he's ok.
