This makes me think: it’s like Nostr is ID forever. Ie a child or my child could look at my nsec many years from now and see what I was talking about and know it to be my words. Like finding a digital diary that you can trust

Some learnings from before

- pre recorded month old episodes are out of date, so you have to be careful conversations don’t get stale

- I prefer to record and release within a week, but this does leave less schedule errors (like what’s happening right now)

- as a host, you get really good at listening, which is great, but sometimes it’s nice to get up and talk yourself. These monologue episodes are designed to scratch that itch as and when they come up

Ultimately, if people don’t like the content, that’s totally fine, stop watching. It’s my belief that this is all about long-term content creation, so it’s important to try lots of things. I might well do what you suggested

In the same way that there are different types of money, with different properties, there are different types of sugar

The closer to a natural ingredient you get the better. Eg honey or maple

White sugar, or refined sugar, or whatever processed sugar you might find, has a significant adverse impact on your health vs a natural sugar

I’ve found filling the schedule is pretty easy, but then people can’t make it, lives change, and that’s totally ok

This time around, I am building as much flexibility into this as possible

Each time a guest can’t make it I will do a solo episode on things I’ve found interesting recently

I now think of capital in 3 tranches: 1) financial, 2) humanistic, and 3) intellectual

Starting a podcast for me 1) financially: helped me deeply research Bitcoin and make the best investment decisions I’ve ever made (5x on capital thus far), 2) humanistic (another way to think of this is “social capital”) begin growing a digital audience that has helped me open a number of doors totally unavailable prior (2x startup opportunities, MC duties, upcoming podcast), and 3) intellectual: I have a whole new suite of skills that I never thought I would gain

I don’t think either of these is priced in:

- 1 - To re-assign supply they already have seized onto their balance sheet

- 2 - To accumulate additional supply from the market

1 is massive just for general narrative & sentiment, essentially game on Nation State accumulation, with a F you to the FED

2 is how we might get to a 1 mil plus price target, so massive for price action to the upside
