Value is subjective

Intrinsic value is a myth

Wild to recognise that some market analysts I really admire are 90% plus confident we will see a US Government Strategic Bitcoin Reserve in Q1 2025

Even I, as an avid Bitcoin proponent and investor, would never have guessed that might happen so soon

Meaning: this is NOT priced in

Wild ride ahead 💪🏻

Pre-Xmas I did a stool test, & found that I had a parasite known as “blasto”

It’s very common

I am on a gut and parasite protocol to get rid of it, using natural supplements

For almost 2 weeks I’ve taken daily

- Floramyces

- Berb-evail

- Oregano

- Digestive enzyme

Some days I had terrible diarrhoea, then constipation, symptoms very often found with parasites

Moving to a slightly different set of supplements next week to try build it all back

Interesting to see if the bloating, digestive issues, and drowsiness symptoms persist

Trial and error is key with these things I’ve found! Lots to still learn

Great note. Totally resonates! It’s very counter-intuitive isn’t it. It cannot be deleted, yet you speak more freely, and as yourself.

Perhaps it’s because there is no “god” character, that is in charge of what can or cannot be said, akin to Elon or Zuck.

Everyone is forced to be honourable to their word. You cannot undo a drunk post, a bitchy comment, or a unfavourable review

I now think of every social media other than Nostr a form of capital miss-allocation… Fascinating time to be involved!

Creepy

What is hard though

1 - I know he’s become a billionaire with an aggressive surveillance ad model. Fair play. But really?

Or

2 - at what point am I jealous? It’s so easy to dismiss people as lame when they’re richer, faster, stronger etc than yourself

Ultimately, I wouldn’t say no to being sat next to him at a dinner. Maybe we’d talk about all the BTC he has stashed away… and ofc is “smokin meat”

Dr Jack Kruse? Fascinating guy if so. Had him on a podcast a couple of years back, and he was easily the most confronting to me about my own choices, throughout 80 episodes of my previous podcast no one hammered me and my choice to raise a family in Australia so far.

Mitocondria reaearch also fascinating, all about light!

Amen to this. Fave of my 4 year old at the moment is collecting bugs

Literally anything gets a good look at. So much so the 4 & 2 yr old were arguing over a magnifying glass yday

Point being it makes one slow down, revel in nature again, and see the big questions all over again

Yup. Very influential book on one’s thinking through this journey

brotherhood. We’re all from different countries, speak different languages, work different jobs, but come together a few nights a week to practice killing each other more efficiently. We shake hands, bow, laugh about our losses and congratulate one another on our victories.

Every jiu jitsu gym I’ve ever visited had these things in common: If you come in with an ego it will get flatlined. If you come as a stranger you will leave with friends. If you don’t drill the martial aspects you will get humbled. If you don’t respect the art you will be out classed. We hold each other accountable, but your progress is your responsibility.

Struggling with takedowns? Well unless you face your fears and shoot and fail and shoot and drill you will get sprawled on forever. Proof of work. The community can help you reframe the problem. You wouldn’t have an issue shooting if you fixed your posture when you got to the knees. If you keep shooting head down you’re gonna get guillotined brather. Try a new approach.

If you fall off the way no one is going to bring you back to class. But when you find yourself they will always welcome you with open arms as long as you come ready to work & learn.

We learn together and experience the hardest part of our days as a team. The rest of life is cake by comparison.

Get out there and find your jiu jitsu or community. Try new things. There is no time for excuses in this life. Push yourself.

What is your core limiting belief?

Okay now that that’s off your chest, stop being a bitch and go build that life and community you want for yourself. It sounds simple, but it will be one of the most challenging & rewarding things you do in this life. Oss 🤙

I went to my first BJJ classes back in August, and really enjoyed it

Since got my 4 yr old daughter going regularly, and 2 yr old about to start

We had a 3rd baby in Sept, so personally not made it back on the mat yet

But will 150% go again in the future when I’ve got a bit more time to myself

To echo your note, even with such a small exposure to it, I love the respect, community, humble nature of it

Awesome stiff

I would say pretty likely that it will be tried

But like all this game theory stuff, there’ll probably be another country you can move to that treats you better

In the same way that governments have got in the way of Bitcoins ability to be permissionless, with KYC etc, will Nostr see similar attacks?

Ie we will have to kyc somehow in order to interact with the protocol

Much harder to do when not transferring value out of tradfi banking system I guess

Long live free speech!

Rings truer every time I read something like that 👏

They say "Bitcoin is too volatile" therefore way too risky

But in my weekly investment report to my wife, for the past 8 weeks it's been trading at circa 150k aud

About 2 years ago I did a deep dive into UK inflation for a re-allocation analysis on an equity I owned

I found that from 2011 to 2023 gbp circulation was up circa 40% base money

Gold was 42% up. Uk FTSE 100 was 46% up. In the sand time frame

The most fascinating fact, unlike the M1 and M2 data in the US you can find, the Bank Of England cancelled its reporting on base money supply

Literally just stopped making it

You cannot find an official stat from them on how much they print

So I had to get the data from elsewhere, meaning to this day I am not 100% sure of its accuracy

Point being: the game is totally rigged, with Central Banks always playing things in their favour, so no surprise the buyers are hidden (it could even be the BOE themselves…)
