Yeah, that’s the guy. He’s clearly not normal (I’ve never met a neurosurgeon who was) but he’s not a crank by any stretch of the word. He comes off as very intense bordering on hypomanic, which he might be, but not manic. That level of intensity we all get in to at some points in our lives…that’s generally how we get through our greatest accomplishments…but few live that way. As a physicist, I have a hard time believing everything he does about emf…but he’s not implausible about anything there…someday I want to dig deep on some of his theories.

The big reason we all feel so comfortable here on NOSTR is simple: we’re with our people.

So many of the best Bitcoiners are here, and that alone is huge. But it’s not just that—because, at one point, we had that on Twitter too. There’s something extra about NOSTR, something that makes it feel different.

The secret sauce isn’t just the presence of the people who’ve dedicated their lives to Bitcoin. It’s the ones who got so fed up with legacy social media that they switched off everything and came here. To a new, emergent protocol that barely worked half the time.

Sure, NOSTR is a lot better now. But think about what it took to get here: figuring out this platform, using something no one else has ever heard of, dealing with its quirks. That’s a special kind of person.

It’s the same humility and curiosity we see in people who took the time to figure out Bitcoin. And when you add that to a protocol like this, it creates something unique. Something real.

I feel so comfortable here. I let loose, I’m myself—even though, ironically, you can’t delete anything here. But there’s a strange kind of freedom in that.

Among my people, it feels right.

Once forgotten, as I lived in the “System of Medical Hell” faced with the insurmountable task of dealing with a life burdened by…RA, Parkinson’s, Stroke and Spinal MRSA which left me disabled and in constant pain. Thankfully, I found healing on a Clean Keto now Carnivore diet free of illness, free of medication.

I share my story on X in addition to numerous podcasts and the Healing Humanity documentary. My hope is you’ll join me here on #nostr as I continue to share how I live a life of vitality and strength at age 70.

“The best is yet to come”

That crazy neurosurgeon bitcoin guy Breedlove had on his podcast I think is more signal than noise. Not sure I buy all his EMF stuff but a lot of his other stuff seems plausible, especially regarding satoshi.

One of the most important aspects of parenting is getting to experience the magic and innocence of childhood again. To remember this experience again, that now, as adults, most of us are estranged to, is truly to remember one of the most quintessential human experiences.

brotherhood. We’re all from different countries, speak different languages, work different jobs, but come together a few nights a week to practice killing each other more efficiently. We shake hands, bow, laugh about our losses and congratulate one another on our victories.

Every jiu jitsu gym I’ve ever visited had these things in common: If you come in with an ego it will get flatlined. If you come as a stranger you will leave with friends. If you don’t drill the martial aspects you will get humbled. If you don’t respect the art you will be out classed. We hold each other accountable, but your progress is your responsibility.

Struggling with takedowns? Well unless you face your fears and shoot and fail and shoot and drill you will get sprawled on forever. Proof of work. The community can help you reframe the problem. You wouldn’t have an issue shooting if you fixed your posture when you got to the knees. If you keep shooting head down you’re gonna get guillotined brather. Try a new approach.

If you fall off the way no one is going to bring you back to class. But when you find yourself they will always welcome you with open arms as long as you come ready to work & learn.

We learn together and experience the hardest part of our days as a team. The rest of life is cake by comparison.

Get out there and find your jiu jitsu or community. Try new things. There is no time for excuses in this life. Push yourself.

What is your core limiting belief?

Okay now that that’s off your chest, stop being a bitch and go build that life and community you want for yourself. It sounds simple, but it will be one of the most challenging & rewarding things you do in this life. Oss 🤙

Viva Australia! Me and my wife are still planning to do a road trip (maybe rent a van etc.) in Australia along the coast. She dreams of Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, but I also want to explore the north around Darwin and maybe make it even until Perth.

Is this at all recommendable or are we just going to die because of a snake bite or sharks while surfing?
