Is it me or are most electric cars trying to sound like the second coming of Jesus?

Yeah it's a massive yet mostly enjoyable time consumer. The worst part of doing it for a living too is when you know no one is going to see it, that's somewhat soul destroying even if you do get money for it because you could have doing your own garden instead.

Its good because it doesn't have 6 fingers 😁

The recessed eyes are a nice touch so he is always watching you 😁

πŸ™‚ you get different colours too, go look up some days where the meteor showers are coming (perseids are good as its warmer in August and hopefully not cloudy) find a place outside of London on a dark sky map of the U.K. and you will see hundreds of them.

You did I was talking to someone outside and they saw it too :)

yeah, it's some kind of nerve thing, and i know that damaged nerves in the ear keep sending out a signal forever, which is basically what makes the sound, but whether it's loud or squelched out is a separate thing that has to do with the auricular processing parts of the brain, similar to the ones in the back that correct the flaws in our vision, like the blind spots in each eye and so forth

nerves conduct signals by two mechanisms, along the dendrites and through the nucleus is salts, which transfer electrons across selectively, and the main salts are calcium, magnesium, sodium and potassium, and each different ion, and the counterions, chloride, sulphate, and others, participate in specific types of signals

when something disrupts the balance of electrolytes, it attenuates some types of signalling and i believe that possibly potassium has a part in tinnitis

when i say "reduces" i don't mean eliminates it, just that how i experience it now, versus how it was 5 years ago before the various issues with my kidneys seem to have started, was dramatically different, i now hear it clearly even over top of quite loud external sound, and i should add, that i'm also more reactive to sound, my exaggerated startle response is worse now also, and at the same time i also am having problems with my feet and hands especially, peripheral neuropathy, which is a sign of failing kidneys, and the kidneys are the main regulator of electrolytes

this is one of the problems with carnivore btw, meat is relatively low in magnesium and potassium... milk has a lot more potassium and it has calcium, but the best sources of potassium are fruits and some vegetables, and magnesium also, as you might predict, in green leafy vegetables

carnivore is a good fasting method i think, but not overall... you want to add sources of magnesium, potassium and calcium, and that means a bit of leafy veg, some fruit, some dairy... unless you have lactose intolerance, which is relatively rare, actually, and gluten intolerance has gone up because the industrial food chemical biotech industry has hyper-bred and then now also genetically modified wheat for breadmaking and the type of gluten in it is bad, and similarly, the protein in friesian cow milk is harder to digest than the ones in jersey, and in sheep and goat milk

at the root of much of the problems with this aspect of people's health is the perversion of food production by these government lobbying chemical and biotech companies, who are run and owned by people who KNOW that their stuff makes people sick, and they think that's great because we are "useless eaters" to them

Have a look at lion's mane mushrooms, infrared therapy(or sunlight but it's probably harder to get that in your ear) and peptides like bpc 157. As well as getting some B vitamins in you from something fermented. Hope some that helps.

Still my favourite secauteurs I can cut stuff much bigger(about twice as big)with these okatsune secauteurs than the Swiss made felcos I used to use because they are so damn sharp. Spring on the last Okatsunes finally broke after about 6 years of relentless everyday use. Despite the spring being replaceable, the yen is so weak at the moment this pair was only about Β£30 so it made sense to snap a new pair up while they were cheap.

Decent tools make for enjoyable gardening and the cheap ones break easily so just do the right thing and get quality ones first.

This post by Riddy made me smile and inspired me to write an intro myself, as I too am new to Nostr. So here goes.

Hi! You can call me Bosstone. Music has always been a huge part of my existence. I am the co-founder of a music service that has grown to 10+ million users over the past 5 years, primarily in Latin America where we are #2 behind Spotify in Mexico's Google Play store music rankings.

Before my entrepreneurial journey began, I spent 7 years in finance. I was an analyst at an investment bank when Lehman collapsed and I remember that period of time well. Years after the GFC, I was considered an upper earner in society, but buying a home still felt like a stretch. Hence began my path down the 'what is money' rabbit hole that eventually led me to #bitcoin.

Like Riddy, I am also not a developer, but I am in a position to influence the music community's understanding of bitcoin, decentralization, privacy, etc. In fact, I consider it an imperative as "starving artists" are in the class of people most affected by worsening inflation, yet most are oblivious to the underlying dynamics affecting their quality of life. Moreover, the bulk of "#crypto" activity (that music execs and artists wrongfully associate with bitcoin) in my industry has revolved around awful Web3 investments and the like. Unsurprisingly, few music people - from record label workers to rights administrators - actually understand bitcoin.

To that end, I hope to contribute to the Nostr community for now by onboarding members of the creative and creative exec class into our movement. I may sneak in a few music-related things along the way.

Many aspiring artists are anti-establishment by nature. Nostr jives perfectly with their world. They just don't know it yet. Let's get them there.

Welcome!

People with who seem to have had the part of the brain that deals with spatial awareness removed....they seem to be omnipresent in supermarkets.

People always insisting on always calling 'cider vinegar' 'apple cider vinegar' as is the word apple bestowed magical properties sent from an angel upon high. When in reality it's just old oxidised gut rot cider which muggins here would have pour into a vinegar tank.
