I'm reading that the Labour government (UK) might be raising capital gains tax in the budget. It's currently only 10% up to 50k and 20% after that. From what I'm reading, they might well raise the 10% to 20% and the 20% to 40%, in line with income tax. If they do that there will be no early retirement for me next year and I'll be fucking FUMUNG😡.

About 2 weeks ago, I found a litter of kittens with a deceased mother. They were barely old enough to survive. I brought them home, taught them how to eat a soupy food/milk replacer mix, dealt with adjustment issues and whatnot. Everyone is thriving now & I think I can start trying to find homes. I'm happy and sad about that. I want my life back & I'm tired of smelly kittens, but, man, I'm proud of us. We made it. 🥲

Thanks, I’ve made cider before and we do have some apples to use for that, but I’ve never considered adding hops. We have loooots of hops though. Someone mentioned hop honey which I may do a small amount of. I have a friend who’s into brewing (actually the head brewer at a local brewery) but he’s always too caught up and busy to help me use up all these beautiful hops.

I keep wanting to grow some hops but haven’t figured out what kind of trellis to use. Yours look great

I can easily orange pill dumb normies to Bitcoin whether it’s on chain or through lightning. It’s getting easier to onboard over time to NOSTR. But the best way to show people value 4 value at its best was Fountain. But since the update I can’t consciously try to onboard people to a product that broke for me on my iOS system. It was by far my favorite, most used, and straight up most fun Bitcoin related app. I used to listen to podcasts on there for 12-16 hrs a day 7 days a week. Now I deleted my account and the app completely off my phone because it had become unusable. Very sad, I miss the old version of Fountain and wish I never updated it. I feel like it was way overhyped integrating it to NOSTR.
