I wonder if the state VPN is throttling users.

Lol "peer review". The circlejerk of scientists kissing each others asses to keep "science" within their own purview while continually confirming their biases to the masses and manipulating statistics to lie about their results.

Go back to Reddit where you came from.

Fiber does not "prevent glucose spikes". It MAY dampen the effect of certain spikes, but insulin will spike nonetheless. Exercise, including walking, can also dampen the insulin spike after a meal. Insulin responds to ALL nutrient intake as it is completely necessary, therefore, you NEED insulin for muscle building. How else do you expect the protein to get into your cells?

Insulin spikes may temporarily downregulate fat burning, but does not mean it stops forever.

Pathologic insulin resistance is when you need to worry. Avoiding highly processed foods, such as those with high fructose corn syrup and especially seed oils, are what will lead you to that issue.

The only thing fiber may do with respect to sugar is slow down the impact on blood sugar, but you still absorb all of it. Fiber has no real impact on the more important factor: insulin resistance. Fiber is pretty much useless.

Take a few minutes our of each day to report them as spam and your feed will be much cleaner.

I know, I know. It's probably just the weather's fault. I don't know how our ancestors survived before humans figured out how to nourish ourselves properly with engineered "food".

There are a multitude of contributors, but I'm starting to be on board with seed oils being the top dog with regards to disease.

Seed oils (aka vegetable oils) contain high amounts of linoleic acid.

Linoleic acid causes white blood cells to release a substance called "leukotoxin".

High amounts of leukotoxin play a role in Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS).

During the pLandemic, the "virus" would offen lead to ICU-level patients succumbing to ARDS.

In the United States, most of the processed foods we eat, and much of the oil we cook with, either is, or contains, seed oils. We are constantly exposed to them. Many people, especially the obese, have high percentages of linoleic acid in their body fat.

Coincidentally (or is it?), leukotoxin is also known as "CORONAric acid".

It isn't the carbs. It's the seed oils.
