What about trying https://yakihonne.com or https://habla.news ? Both are perfect for journalists because it’s got a draft, preview and long-form text content.

Are these long form contents going to appear also in other clients? Does a long form article have a different "kind" code at the protocol level?

A few ideas:

- Taproot addresses that are no LN related

- Segwit/legacy -> Taproot transactions (since Taproot usage is low and it's likely for a spending to be from a segwit address

- Taproot addresses with more than dust amounts

- Taproot addresses funded from this week on, before there was no Silent payment implementation, therefore no need to count them

I guess that the classical heuristics of "different script outputs" are crucial: most of the users spend from segwit addresses...a transaction with a bunch of segwit inputs and all segwit outputs but one taproot is likely to be a silent payment (or a channel funding btw).

If you'r able to isolate channel fundings from other "to taproot" payments then the esitmate would be kind of reasonable

Thinking in bets, by Annie Duke. A lesson in probabilistic thinking that is a must read, we are so used to "point estimates" rather than probabilistic outcomes.

Is arkpill.me offline for y all too?

I've been tinckering with #nostr python libraries and wrote a basic relay and client implementation for clipboard copy-pasting funcionalities across devices in the same private network

Probably nothing

Just got the news that in France thay're trying to prohibit underage children to use smartphones and social media!

Probably not enforceable, so let's move on

I cannot disagree more, me being one that helped some serious newbies setting up their first LN node and linux system. These all-in-one solutions are a ticking bomb, who uses them usually cannot debug, cannot deal troubles, cannot solve minor problems. Some of them cannot even understand the importance of keeping up with the updates because they are so used to "push notification updates".

They set up LN nodes, open a bunch of bad funded channels, cannot deal with rebalancing nor use auto-rebalancing software.

Running LN nodes is not something that the average Joe will do, it's pretty clear now.

It's true that politically americans are better organized to fight the Bitcoin censorship from within. UE has no political groups or collectives working on that.
