you can look for hashtags people use that interest to you as an affinity group, then start following that hashtag...
as you see people interact, glance at their profile and see if they seem interesting enough to follow :-)
also I found that when people leave comments under my notes, they're usually worth a follow after that too.

yeah, I can really relate to this... I fantasized for years about just ditching my smartphone in favor of a flip phone.
it's Google maps though... That's what I can't imagine being without day to day. and also Uber when I'm traveling. besides that, I could really get by with an old flip phone again. I feel you.
I'm not familiar with zbd, but as a #Strike user for years now, I can vouch for every point made about the apps core benefits and functionally

yeah, I discovered & started using Twist instead of Slack a couple years ago actually, when looking for something like Slack but saner...
my whole company's actually been using Twist ever since, and we ❤️ it... definitely worth a look for anyone else troubled by the Slack firehose of distraction instead of the elegant channel for relevant messages it was meant to be.
