This wouldn’t be nearly as much fun if our adversaries in the legacy system were somewhat decent people. But they’re not, and that’s what’s going to make this so badass.

People are always asking what they can do to help the cause, but it’s really simple. Just buy Bitcoin and hold it. That’s the single most important action you can take to suck their monetary energy out of their cesspool of lies and activity.

Build a moat all around you so you can hodl, guys. Things will likely get tough. Stay strong.

But zapping is so much fun Preston!

Holding is an essential part because it locks supply that they can’t their hands on. Make no mistake, they got endless dollars and all they need is time and sellers.

Plebs holding btc will make the difference in the end. We win.

Fiat mining and stacking sats. It couldn't be that simple...could it?!

It's like fighting a civil-war era battle with alien technology. No contest.

It really is. Just let it do what it’s designed to do.

A foreboding of hope unlike any since at least the 19th century. It will feel boring and obvious in retrospect.

And self custody. To avoid exchanges, ETFs and futures to trade Bitcoin they don’t have and this dilute the value.

Well, also understanding “the cause” and “why Bitcoin makes sense for the cause” help!

Before 2020 I was completely finance-illiterate, the process of learning improved my conviction by 10x minimum, before that it was mostly magic internet money and memes.

Not that I’m literate now 🥴 but at least I understand some context and I know how much I don’t know!

Taking our energy out of the system by opting out is the first step, but I do not believe that will be enough.

When our adversary is starving they will go to great lengths to satiate their appetites. We need to be prepared for that.

“Hi, I’m from Legacy Media and I’m here to help” 🫠

I’m a HODLer but at some point the HODL narrative should change to be less restrictive. Liquidity (aka usage) will be needed to fill up blocks so miners could make money from fees as the block subsidy disappears. If people aren’t using bitcoin, blocks will not be full of transactions and low fees will cause miners to economically shutdown. No?

It's been good to watch your transformation from covering legendary stock investors on TIP to based bitcoin chad

Most people are decent, there are (mostly) only bad incentives

Go out into the marketplace and create value for others. Stack sats and support Bitcoin development. Help build the bridge to a brighter tomorrow ✌️

Just pointing out what this looks like from the outside: suppose you walk into a church, and the minister tells you that the number one thing you can do to further God’s kingdom is to put money into the offering plate, what is your gut reaction?

(Note that this hypothetical is neutral of whether the your underlying assertion is true or not)

Hodling bitcoin is not the single most important action, it is only the beginning. The revolution will require hodlers to fight back when they attack. That’ll be the most important action we need to take. To fight back is to transact in our new currency, to start businesses that pay wages in our freedom money, to purchase goods with our freedom money, to spread the freedom to those who need it most, and welcome the tired, hungry, weary into our new world.

Man you yanks are so full of shit.

Everything is a fucking conspiracy to you. You turn everything into a fucking war.

96% of the world is not american so if you're really serious about spreading bitcoin. STFU with your daddy issues so peopl can learn what botcoin really is

Fucking moron

Talking about Bitcoin (and only bitcoin) to anyone you know helps too. Family, friends, complete strangers at your sons swim meet that you overhear say the word “crypto” 😂

Yes. Yes. And yes.

Be productive (provide value) and store that productive value in Bitcoin.

To quote Harry Suddock "Bitcoin monetizes the productive class and demonetizes the political class"

#[1] you and your podcast have been a guiding light throughout my Bitcoin journey over the past 2.5 years. Thanks for everything you do!

Taking self-custody is the most important, entry level step to do to help the cause.

Next step is running your own node

It’s not enough to just buy and hodl

People need to custody their own BTC or else nothing is solved because exchanges will continue to rehypothecate

And to stick it to the man.

I would still have 100% of net worth in Bitcoin if it was a literal stable coin.

Separating money from state and bootstrapping digital scarcity is an imperative for our civilisation.

Done QED!

Its so easy to take the power away from those people and give it back to yourself that most think its just too good to be true and don't believe it.
