You need to have a wallet connected and have note zaps unlocked with the nostrscript

I am not sure. These rev-share models lead to bad incentives. Clients should not put themselves between creators and their audience. I prefer that people pay for the client directly.

If it works (revenue comes in), it does. Devs get lazy and stop collecting real feedback about new improvements because money comes in no matter what they do.

🤔 support Damus for building a decentralized communication network?! Ok, so what Damus can do to convince people it’s worthy their support?!
well we’re working on the tech that brings an embedded relay with search capability into native clients. This will make searching and browsing nostr a lot more private. It will be in damus android and desktop clients as well. Not to mentioned we built the specs for zaps, reactions, reposts, command results, query limits, npubs/nsecs, image metadata, user statuses, and we will continue to do so. We also do a lot of the in person marketing for nostr, we travelled to 6 countries this year talking to people from around the world at conferences and onboarding as many people as we can.
Doing our best to make nostr succeed, but it is very expensive to do all this. If it weren’t for our supporters we wouldn’t be able to.
So it’s offering people a choice to real democracy rather than being purposely manipulated?! (Correct me if I’m wrong)
If so, that’s great, when majority of people have clear mind and independent thinking, it might help lot and bring more harmony to society and the world. 👍
Just one concern, how are you guys dealing with spams or malicious & inflammatory contents, attacks,provocations etc? Any timely interfering tools or plan B could be applied for possibly cooperating with regulators When necessary?
