IMO this shows that base layer privacy is a bad idea. FCMP have been talked about for 2 years now and they are still 2 years away.
This should have been done years ago. Privacy needs to nimble and up-gradable in a moments notice. This is why I am more hopeful with privacy on BCH going forward.
Which is it? Layer 1 privacy sucks, or BCH privacy is the bomb?
Fyi, I don't think anyone is hating on BCH, But each crypto has it's own ++ & --. Realistically, using multiple, decentralized blockchains that have varying privacy features has benefits for the agorist, libertarian & privacy communities by providing both universal & esoteric options for transactions, as well as more potatoes on the hill.
