This morning, I used Amethyst to "Share" the link to my saved messages in Telegram, which is an njump.me link.
When I just opened it, I was *floored* by the long, looooong list of clients. Man I remember when it was like four or so!
Nostr's biggest strength is that all your notes _can_ be seen everywhere. But eversince Amethyst radically changed it's relay handling, I no longer know where mine are actually stored - and it feels like Primal, Amethyst and Nostrudel ALL use a different method of retriving and storing them, which is genuenly a pain in the ass and why I will probably have to sit down and genuenly manually synchronize them between all of them - which suuuuuucks x.x
I haven't tried many of the new clients in a long while, mainly because I am now at work, and lost my RISC-V board which was where I had noscl/nak set up with my privkey and all to note via SSH. x) Been too lazy to bring that back - and I am not installing AKA Profile (my extension of choice for browser) on my work laptop - all the websocket traffick would have me flagged by that stupid Sophos firewall within seconds, I am sure. It deadass cucked me several times on SourceForge - and I do work at an IT company...
I think, from my limited perspective, that the fragmentation of clients is not the problem - but rather making sure that all clients get all notes... as in, relay management. But, that's just me. :)
Thanks for your feedback 🙏
