It feels to me that the author of the article is intentionally attempting to misguide rather than expressing his actual opinion.

It doesn't feel in good faith at all

I have evidence

Is this real? 😂

“Bitcoin earns no income and has no intrinsic value – it is, for all its cleverness, really nothing more sophisticated than a tech reinvention of the Ponzi scheme.”

These people. They never stop parroting the same thing, over and over again.

Really poor article

“Bitcoin is a classic zero sum game”

That assumes there is an end, but Bitcoin is an infinite game. It doesn’t end.

Haven't read the article yet, but I can guess it is talking about the impact that new innovation will have on the status quo.

I would have loved to see this article as loans came about and made its way into retail. Do you think they did one?

Loans give people an edge, an unfair advantage to others above the rest of us and steal from everyone to do it. Obviously the house ultimately wins, but the unfair part comes from how loans are not available to all, despite the impact being felt by all.

> ... Sam Bankman-Fried who, following the collapse of his cryptocurrency exchange FTX, is now reported to be on a new venture: trading grains of rice with his fellow inmates at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center.

Gotta give props for that one 😁

Oh, I see, it's just fluff. Why are we giving this any attention?

I thought maybe it would be about leaving the "conservative" folk in the dirt while capital flows away from them. They even suggested it was, but then went on to describe Bitcoin as a pump and dump which means there is nothing for a non-bitcoin/crypto investor to worry about then. 🤷‍♂️

Useless information to the nocoiners, useless to the investors, just useless all over.

Shill for the established status quo much, Ross?

I expected that article to have been written my a young kid, not someone with three decades of ‘experience’.

There’s no crime in not understanding something. But by the time you reach middle age you should have a decent grasp of what you know and what you don’t. What a moron.

Threat or treat

Omg, I saw that article yesterday and had a thin hope he would say something original. I was wrong. I feel dumber for having read it.
