Fiat studio disease.

Humanity peaked in the middle 90s. Everything is downhill from there.

I think that was the decade where money was being printed and the inflation had not caught up yet.

Same reason why content in general have downgraded: following the data graph. Creators trying to fit their creations to an audience (according data) instead of following their own raw, real, authentic self. There would not be any Dali, Thoreau, Emerson, Picasso, Vallejo, HST, etc today.

Zero creativity.

I was told it was because it's cheaper make something for netflix... or at least more profitable.

The client list they dont released.

Filmmakers just want to be Tik Tok influencoors now.

The death of aspirational vision for life. The nihilistic materialistic cultural rot has infected the entertainment industry (or maybe the goal was to use the entertainment industry to infect society).

To push the Godless moral relativism of that Satanic religion, the entertainment industry calls good evil, and evil good. Victimhood in itself is celebrated as a moral virtue, rather than overcoming obstacles being celebrated. This means the "heroes" are no longer aspirational characters we can look to for inspiration and motivation in overcoming obstacles and living high-agency, fulfilling lives. Instead they're just cheap, shallow caricatures endlessly repeating woke religious dogma and modeling degenerate behavior that leads to real-life tragedy for those who copy it.

None of this is honest, and therefore it's not deep and compelling enough to create the emotional energy of a hero's journey that truly grips the heart of the audience.
