Only when the Cat coder makes a new relay.

So ₿

I pressed random buttons three times however long I've been here for.

Hourly tbh

Just toggle between relays... every client has different config options. In my case, ive realized there are relays that should be avoided. I have those on a mental disconnect list.

Amethyst makes this very easy. Primal is a little less configurable but can still be refreshed under the cache as often as u want.

Relay runners are constantly spinning up daily.

Also nostr:nprofile1qqspw5udc2nzw6wsj3plrrphe0343744h0ucz9e4g248chl3w8kh03qppamhxue69uhkumewwd68ytnrwgqs6amnwvaz7tmwdaejumr0dsq3gamnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwv3sk6atn9e5k7m7dh6a IMO its the only way to make nostr rlly work... because there's a lot of fragmentation. A feature not a bug necessarily. But you have to query robustly to get the full picture of nostr. For instance, I rlly like the Muslim community on here but I usually have to seek those users out on different relays.

A

when problems like spam attacks.

Relay lists are not the correct abstraction, they're a stupid makeshift solution I wrote on Branle because I was stressed and dumb and left it to be worked on later when my imagination got better -- then other clients copied, sadly.

NIP-65 outbox lists are great for their purpose, and these basically don't have to be tweaked ever, but that is not the only place where Nostr users and clients have to interact with relays.

This sounds too goo to be true. Is true - have you tested with outbox folks?

Usually C. D if I’m testing something

What were the last things you tested wrt relays?

Last 4 things were:

-News.utxo.one as a relay feed in Damus, Nostur and primal

-Aggr.nostr.land in Damus and Nostur

-All the new functionalities nostr.land that were being added

-Setting up properly the outbox/inbox model in Nostur

Ah and a 5th one. I was also testing Luxas’ relay. Seeing how it propagated with Bacar.sandwich while I was broadcasting with in on Nostur

sendit.nosflare.com

*nadar not bacar

I'd rather pay someone to do that.

What's a relay? Like - bitcoin relayed recently?

Which nostr app do you use?

A relay sends your notes (and other stuff) to others.

You receive notes (and other stuff) from relays.

Im on primal. Do I get to see more posts, if I add more relays?

Primal handles the relay ingestion on your behalf. Possibly adding more relays affects where you send your notes?
