We don't have mute, just block. They do the same thing.
And you can't add a mute function, if I don't want to see someone for a while, just to mute, not blocking?

I don't think that's how Nostr works. As far as I know, you can only control what you see, not others. So for Nostr there's no difference between the two.

You can't block people from seeing your notes on nostr. In nostr block = mute.
