Do people still use iPads?
Discussion
yes. to take photos sightseeing
it is abhorrent
I don't think so, just kids and boomers.
I'm so glad that those aberrations seem to have gone away. Not iPads but the whole concept of "tablet".
My grandma does.
People with disabilities use it a lot. It is easier to handle than a phone.
Yes, this makes sense. 💜
Yes, more than I use my MacBook actually.
I have one but only use it occasionally. They are very popular with kids though and are commonly used in schools.
My kids had them when they were younger but now have laptops at school.

Yup, iPad Mini is goated
I switched to an Android tablet early this year, and I am seriously thinking about going back.
Tablet is much better for media consumption and iPad in particular was also great for my art and design side-projects. I am really missing Procreate and Affinity Designer over here on Android now...
I use my iPad as an extended monitor, very graceful on the current OS, and for note taking (Notes and Apple Pencil) and for light weight meeting connectivity. I’ll put LTE on it so I never have to think twice about connectivity.
Also, handy for writing, on a pop-down to the coffee shop, when writing on a google doc. Not awesome for outside where sunlight could mess with me, though. So I’m starting to wonder if nostr:npub1a00wj229auzjswlq4s77y4u8eqdx5k9ppatgl8rtv8va65f6mwksum9q3h is Google Drive, or connected Google Docs friendly. Anyone confirm?
It's much better than carrying my 5 pound, power hungry laptop in my backpack. I have an M2 for some notetaking, drawing, and some casual video editing.
I do for games
I saw a dude w/one in the club last night. 🤷♂️
This was in #SEAsia. 🤙
