I will say that itβs hard to use on mobile because of screen size limitations (but thatβs on me).
I was using WoS with plebstr and #amethyst i didn't know alby can be use on android too, now i have connect my alby wallet with amethyst and it's so much better for zaps, i didn't have to switch to the other app every time to accept the zap

I only use nostr and lightning on my phone.. last I checked Alby only worked as a browser extension. Has that changed?

Did you try using Alby PWA or plugin to Firefox mobile?
Alby is great. If I would change anything. And this is really silly. I would change the theme of the Alby extension page. So that it feels a little different from the site.
I always get confused if Iβm on the site settings or the extension settings.
When I add alby to my Home Screen on IOS, I am unable to see my Fiat amount. There is no conversion only the Sats are displayed.
I need it to be more friendly on the phone
I tried to setup a dual zap for damus and drained my account in 3hrs cause I am not a programer technically I still use it but have yet to revisit.

I had Alby working on my android with amethyst, but something happened and now a custodial wallet opens up when I zap. Can't figure it out.

How did you do it (Alby with amethyst on Android)
I don't know if your problem is the same but long press on your zap button on any post.
It will bring up wallet connect and it should show the alby bee, click on that and it should open and auto fill everything.
I checked out your profile and it looks like you need to put in your Lnurl in your profile first.

Alby extension requires chrome or some trash browser and a log into google. No way. Plus workflow to set up on android mobile is clunky AF.
Alby extension is available for firefox and it also supports chromium-like browsers, too. I was able to try it without google login in one of the more privacy-oriented browser for my experiments. However, I still have not tested the setup on android mobile, so good to know that it is not straightforward process.
Can Alby be used for third-party login window on Mobile applications?!

Last week, I wanted to try Alby and begin my journey on Nostr, but there was one big obstacle: invite code :-(
I also tried another methods offered in your browser extension, but none of them worked for me without my own node. (Any of my lightning wallet is not supported)
In the meantime I have found another way how to create nostr account and connect it with another wallet for zaps. But today I have received the invitation to Alby, so I will give you another try :-)

It's difficult not to expose it to any software, hardware chips etc.

up to know I've been using WoS for sending/recording Nostr zaps, but need to find a good replacement.
I'm not super technical with Bitcoin tech, and WoS has been so ridiculously simple to so and use.
if you could point me to a crash course on how to set Alby up with my android and easily use it for zaps, then I'm willing to try it. I could find Alby on the app store
