in other news, amethyst sends thousands of events when this happens, it practically restored a backup, from where? musta been other relays..

Well, my nostr1 relay seems to be fine, so I guess this nuking didn't effect the relay.tools paid relays. Which is nice. I always prefer normal operations to nuclear wasteland. Amethyst seems to lean heavily on the rebroadcast function. Perhaps that at least partially explains the activity you witnessed upon nuke?
