I can't wait to see it. The thread view is something I threw together when the client was new and I'd love to go back and rebuild it
Damus - not loving the new relay layout design
Oh I just noticed it! Agree, the top area feels off and looks broken on my small screen (too many items in one row) I also accidentally added a relay just now 😬
Damus, the home button when exiting a thread takes you to the top of the feed instead of where you were currently scrolled to. Only a second tap should do that?
Yeah this is one that’s always a bit to work through to get back to where you were.
Fixing this would be great.
In apps, every one is used to going back to the previous state.
If it was a thread, you go back to that thread, if it was the feed you go back to the feed.
On Damus, going back, no matter how deep of a rabbit hole you are in, you always go back to the feed with one click.
Coracle. If I leave the tab it’s open in, when I come back I have to refresh the page.
Mobile - Damus - don’t like reposts in the main feed.
Also om Damus, when I’m reading a reply, it’s hard to click on the thread. Often I can’t avoid clicking on the music that the person is playing. I have a small phone, so maybe that’s it.
👀 can you elaborate? It crashes, or won't load, or?
If I’m actively using coracle in a tab the feed updates in real time. If I open another tab to do other things and come back to the tab with coracle, it is there but it hasn’t updated the feed. I just refresh the tab, and it continues to be updated.

Makes sense. I wonder if this is the case with all web clients with auto refresh 🤔 I haven’t paid enough attention to notice. Usually just refresh right away as automatic behavior.

Zap.stream - duplicate streams
Agree!! I told nostr:npub1v0lxxxxutpvrelsksy8cdhgfux9l6a42hsj2qzquu2zk7vc9qnkszrqj49 about it many times (perhaps too many 😜). Maybe he’s busy or the solution is not trivial to implement? I’m not sure.
So far, Primal, but it isn't great at likes or reposts. Snort.social works when Primal fails, but I have to log in to Alby every time I start a session.
I finally got Google Play Store installed on my Kindle Fire 10 HD, and installed Amethyst. After copying my NPUB key into it, all I get is a blank profile. Not impressed.
Snort should keep your session. Are you using a browser that clears your cookies after every session?
Damus and really miss rapid one tap zaps ⚡️😩

Coracle - love it, but occasionally notes written don't get published and MIA.
Primal - love it, but don't get notified on some notes.
Iris - used to love it, prolly a case of don't fix what's not broken but might be a background tech spec issue idk
Snort - i like it but i keep forgetting abt it

Damus: speed and crashes.
Interesting. I don’t have too many speed issues other than around videos. But, I do experience crashes, though not too often.
For me I sometimes get some lag while scrolling when I freshly open the app, and that usually leads to a crash.
Oh and one thing that drives me nuts and should be easily fixable is that the clear cache button in the settings has no feedback when pressed!
Satellite. No list support.
I would consider going back to Amethyst, but not until I don't need to give it my nsec.
With amber you dont habe to.

Amethyst on Android. That media tab TikTok feature. I'd like to be able to choose to just see video content or just images.

Amethyst by farm such a great client.
When you are typing and the carriage return moves below the bottom of the screen it doesn't move the screen down unless you pause your typing to swipe the screen up. It drives me nuts.

I was able to get zaps back (on test flight) after running this and refreshing the app.
ya I was early on TestFlight then got kicked off when everyone came in December

Amethyst - When typing a note, my text gets hidden by the icons at the bottom and I have to scroll up to see what I'm typing.
Second place for Amythest - not being able to see the whole post I am replying to (or not being able to scroll it).
Yakkihonne - 99% flawless, but double posts.

Love using Primal on TestFlight but since the last update I have some issues in that I can’t see notes of a few people that I follow. Currently using Damus
It's improved a lot, well done!
But automatically showing latest notes doesn't work in notes tab, it would be very useful.

On mobile, I mostly used Amethyst in the past . Nowerdays, I am using Primal a lot.
Well, I like Primal on the desktop and there isn't much that's annoying about it to me. I use Damus on iOS and the most annoying this is that I can't REALLY zap people. I like Primal on iOS but I can't save images, and I like to save memes to my meme bank.
Primal on iOS doesn’t let you copy note id, thats bullshit
